FYI the T91MT needs the Runcore Pro I PCI-e PATA SSD. Why Asus changed it is beyond reason.

Really bad planning and designing from Asus not to make the device easily upgradable! You should be able to upgrade HDD/SSD, RAM, 3G easily and quickly, also putting out a device using a underpowered CPU just to use up the stock is not good.

One think if we mod the 3g modem on viliv s5 without putting the connector so that its height remains like around 3mm can we remove the casing of a 1.8 inch ssd and put it there?

You would have to disassemble it, not even sure where you would get a replacement battery, that would be your bigger problem.
