@crazylegokid27 I am guessing there is not going to be much of a difference .. to be honest 6 will prob have something better because its new but who knows until you use both.. lol .. I will tell you this for sure they will both help you learn to fly.. good luck
2 things RC flying will teach u. 1st how to be a good mechanic. 2nd how to be a good pilot. The 2 go hand in hand. I found its a lot involved than just flying. WEATHER wind pressure fronts high and low pressure, balancing wings and fuselage, study air field and runway, make a drawing of a grass field imaginary runway. No ur plane inside and out. Make a journal of repairs, flight characteristic, and crash investigation to prevent future crashes.
Thanks for the video. I've just gotten into RC airplanes, starting with the Hobbyzone Champ about a month ago. I take it out almost daily to practice and I feel i've been going great with it, but it's only a 3-channel. I'm looking to buy a 4-channel plane, specifically the Parkzone Ultra Micro T-28 Trojan, but I have no idea what to expect with the ailerons. This video has most definitely bumped up my confidence and I'll probably pick it up next weekend.
@tendonut t-28 will be a fun plane. I will say to you what I say to everyone get yourself a sim and practice dont waste your money crashing planes LOL I hope the flight goes well 3 and 4 channels are way different. the parkzone planes are not real expensive so its not a bad way to learn but you will get alot better at flying with a sim. I still use mine all the time. that new yak I got. I felt like I could fly it no problem but instead of being stupid I practiced for a few hours before I flew...
@hacker8675309 i realized something.... what is the use of the airplane's rudder if you only use the alerons and elevator to turn? can you just turn the rudder instead of usind aleron and elevator? or should i use a combonation of both? i bought a ultra micro t-28 trojan but im not flying it because im scared of breaking it. thank you. amesome video. very informative
@tendonut and I am really glad I did. it will save you alot of money though the years. also alot of people quit the hobby because they get sick of buying and crashing planes. I hate to see that happen we need as many RC people out there as we can get. good luck with the new plane . happy flying
I'm new to rc planes and I have a question. What's the main difference between the rudder turning and the elevon turning? Why can't you just use one of the two ways all the time? Thank and also this is probably the best how to video on rc planes. Thanks!
@Name548 Thanks very much!! I am glad it helped. aileron turning is going to be the turn you used 99 % of the time ( bank ailerons into the turn and pull around with elevator) but with some planes like piper cubs taylor crafts and other high wings of that style need the use of alittle rudder in turns to keep altutide and in some cases keep them in the air. I suggest you master a trainer with aileron turning and then when you feel you have done that practice rudder turns. good luck..
This is the best vid EVER at least for me cuz i just spend 200 dollars on my first RTF ultramicro airplane and YES I crash it today Aug 14 2011 but i'll follow all the steps here and if i get to fly i let you know, btw my airplane only broke the landing gear so i still have many hours of practice ahead of me THANK YOU !!!!
@Parrotpeople21 well if it was diving the whole flight the elev. was out of trim meaning that your control surface was not even with the tail causing it to dive or lose alt. the whole time. if it was floping around alot your rudder was out of trim also.. cont. in another comment
@Parrotpeople21 ..... or you were being way to heavy on the sticks causing the plane to move fast and then causing you to overcorrect all the time causing a crash.. it is ok my best advice I can give is get a sim or find some help at your local feild also check out my other learning videos they will help
How do I turn on a 3 channel super cub lp, I totally demolished it my first flight out and I'm afraid to go back out and try again. How can I make it smooth cuz my was constantly loosing altitude then turning and flipping and whatnot. Can you pleas e
@Xxcanes real flight sim comes with the transmitter disk and cord to hook to cpu... but you might need to add a graphics card to your cpu for it to work correctly go to realflight d com for more info
This was the GREAT!! trainning tool for me please keep posting these i learned more from you then i learned from the last three experts that helped me. AWSOME!!!! You kept the sprit up and the hummor flowing even when you made mistakes. As we all do. EVEN THE EXPERTS!! CRASH!!. Hope to see more soon. Thanks
@bossplow200 well first of all there are very few experts out there and I am not one of them LOL but thank you very much for the nice comment. I am really happy that it helped you out. I made a few other learning videos check out my channel for them. I will be doing more in the future as ideas come to me. thanks for watching and please pass my videos along.. thanks
nice video! I am a beginner so do you recommend to make turns only with the elevator and ailerons to start with? My plane is a high wing trainer( Thunder tiger T-2000) it`s a similar plane.
@Sweden217 yes when first starting out it is best to only turn with those it is the best way to start .. rudder turns are harder to get down because in most rudder turns you need to use the ail and elv also to keep the plane in the right position.. good luck and thanks for watching
@dragalator345 well it depends on how bad your crash is... but you can fix the balsa with e-poxxy ... test all your servos and the ones that work you can use.. do a range check and look over your engine close if everything looks good you should be good to go... if you have doubt about anything dont use it...
@baeronautics it is real flight simulatior version g 5 it is the best thing any rc flyer can buy it gives you lots of airplanes to practice with and learn before you get to the airfeild
Looks like fun.. I have heard that RC copters are the most difficult to learn how to fly..
