Well congratulations on graduating but nice camera! I'm gonna get a D3000 soon so that will be good, and the normal lens that comes with it is great if you know how to use it, I don't know why so people give it hate, anyways in Quebec have a great trip and post the pics and give us links :D
@That1guyusee i'd go for the d3100 if you have the cash, you'll like it a lot more. and yeah the lens is fine, its just that its made to be cheap. like the plastic mount and stuff, but it takes great pictures for a kit lens. very light and small
your on 13 or 14? (just guessing and not hating) if so, your lucky to have all the stuff you have! im 16 and can barely afford the crap i have already :(
