  • someone stole my shit on neighborgoods

  • what if somebody steals my shit? im just saying how can i be sure

  • this is brilliant !

  • This is such a great idea!

  • And I say that because isn't the goods and money savings second to the actual community building and having people get out there and mingle and bond? then you are going to put groups out there so people can just do the same thing they do in real life...which is exclude people from their "group"

  • Groups to me seems like a great idea...but you are incorporating a seperatist mentality into a great idea...seems like a backwards approach to the original idea..

  • For love is joy, The love has been given Jesus do not let it pass you Love is patient It is waiting for you God is waiting.

  • @Jorge12345801 god is an arsehole

  • Oprah magazine, z0mg!!

  • Oh, Micky, I hope your company is doing well. :)

  • There is no chance that i'm "sharing" my stuff with a bunch of broke ass losers .

  • Is there any chance of you making videos like your old ones ever again?

  • this is the way of the future, sustainability.

  • @TADGELL I doubt it. This is prehistoric.

  • @careypeak23 what do you mean it's prehistoric?

  • @careypeak23 I imagine this is what cavemen did before they evolved into sophisticated animals capable of owning their own shit. I would let people I know and trust borrow my shit, but only a caveman would let strangers borrow his bow and arrow. Because they only had 1! Its called sarcasm. This site is for losers basically that can't get it together or have no friends. No offence, but if you don't have friend who will let you borrow a vaccum cleaner or you don't own one, there is something wrong.

  • @careypeak23 True, if you don't have at least a handful of friends who all own at least one wall-paper steamer then you're clearly a social retard.

  • @BaileysBeads Because yesterday I was just thinking how I wish I had a wall paper steamer or someone who I have never met that would trust me to borrow one( a $400 dollar piece of equipment). You could go on craigs list and hire someone to do the work and contribute to them being able to pay a bill maybe. Na. Just use someone elses, put wear and tear on it, maybe break it, get in a dispute about it and waste productive time.

  • @careypeak23 Breaking it and getting into disputes about it is typical caveman stuff. If you're into that I would advice you to stay the hell away from that site.

  • @BaileysBeads Thats a clever response but it still dosen't answer the question of a real life scenario of someone breaking the lent item. Things break, that is actually a realistic question. And some people do get in disputes in the real world. This is the real world right. This isn't a virtual site is it? 'Cause if it is then I totally got punked. I thought it was for real practical situations. Just troubleshooting over here. Don't mind me. Thinking ahead isn't recommended at this site is it?

  • @careypeak23 You just pay a surety for the expensive stuff. Easy.

  • @BaileysBeads A surety. Hmm. Kinda expensive for someone having to borrow. It sounds like it'd be good for college students and artists and shit. People that are fairly responsible and might even have money for a surety. OK. U sold me.

  • @careypeak23 English is not my native, I thought surety is the right word. I mean the concept of paying a sum to the owner of the particular tool which is to be paid back if the tool has been treated properly. Any damage to the tool will be subtracted from the returned sum.

Could be a different word for it. Ransom maybe?

  • @BaileysBeads Deposit would be the english version of surety

  • @careypeak23 Cheers!

  • Great idea. Just one question. What about when someone breaks or damages items? Like I lend out my guitar and the neck gets broken, or my vacuum comes back smelling like cat piss and clogged with hair? What then?

  • Wouldn't mind to borrow that :D

  • @mickipedia: you are ridiculously pretty, the pic you have on your twitter doesn't do you any justice at all.

  • Hey dude, you just got a bike, why are you walking?!

  • micki is hot!

  • This isn't a new concept. We've (my family) been doing this for as long as I remember with our neighbours since it's a friendly area we live in and everyone knows everyone...

  • Is this really working? You speak of "sharing things you would never use", yet you show pictures of lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, and bicycles. Being an apartment dweller, I do not own a lawnmower, but I imagine people who do, actually use them all the time. And they don't mind extra wear and tear on their lawnmower from use by the rest of the neighborhood??? Who pays for repairs? I don't know... I am sort of reluctant to share my sweet bike and my vac.cleaner with strangers... Wouldn't you?

  • This is a GREAT idea!! I'm afraid though that it may lead to someone stealing these items though as well : ( Still I love the idea!! You're amazing ^_^

  • great concept Mic..

  • Nice work Micki!

  • Wow you're the founder? I never thought I'd actually (sort of) know someone who was mentioned on large shows...well, I already did with a military channel thing, but whatevs.

  • outstanding concept, I will pass this on to everyone.

  • For an idea about sharing, it flew pretty goood...I don't think that's enough of a cameo...

OH! For that brick wall behind you, it flew pretty gooood!
