The original music made this show. Watching it in syndication with this canned music really blows. The music of this time was really good, and the editors did a great job matching the music to the story. Time to dig thru the VHS tapes to see if I still have them all.

I watched these early seasons over and over when they would air on MTV. When they were picked up years later, I was grateful to see them again, but the fact they didn’t include the original music was a real letdown. I understand the legalities of it, but still, it was a letdown.

The Real World was crap back then too, except the producers didn't take it so seriously in 1994. MTV should have canned it after this season.
