Wow, the ages of mothers nowadays are getting lower and lower. I mean seriously! WTF is wrong with them!? It's like, "When I was your age, I lost my first tooth! NOT my virginity!"
Sex is the single most natural act that has ever existed. Why would you teach kids not to do it? Teach them how to protect themselves and that's it. Morality says to teach abstinence and contraception, logic dictates teaching contraception, not fear.
The parents are to blame because they are front & center when comes to educating their children about sex...All I can say is that both the parents and pregnant teen are in for a rude awakening...We are living in uncertain times where the american dream is non-existent.
Really its not just the parents fault for not educating the kids sex ed is being shoved down the kids throat at school and its their form of expression of getting to be against the trend of being skinny also the people feel that they need to be pregnant to get attention
The point I'm trying to make is that parents cannot expect the school system to raise their children, especially when it comes to these type of matters...Parents need to teach these children control, what and what not to value.

Yes, I do realize that teens have the same urge like adults to have sex but if your parents are not there to explain birth control to you and the difficulties of raising a child, you probably would not be in this perdicament...Not to mention the abortions you probably had which could have been prevented if your parents had any sense raise you right.
@chingon711 i get what your saying my parents didnt want to explain anything about abstinence to me other than 'dont do it' well i am also one of those kids who didnt really have a reason to so maybe thats why they didnt explain anything. oh well. lolz. on a side note though it seems to be harder for parents to really explain anything about contraception because i know my parents are catholic so their form of contraception is not to do it til marriage.
