Dang, I've been looking for this song for YEARS but couldn't remember the name of the artist. This sounded quite radical on the Acid House dance floor at the I-Beam in San Francisco in 1988. Good times, before big raves took over and the scene became codified. The pre-Rave/Techno Acid House scene crossed boundaries like nothing I've seen since.
