Looks like all the apps on it were deleted, and it just still has the apps cached for SpringBoard (the main process for showing apps, moving between apps, lockscreen, etc) so basically it still shows everything, but the moment the suckers try to use the search function... WHAM! Now it's completely done for.

To resolve this problem: steps-

1: connect iPad to

iTunes 10.0.0 or higher

2: back it up first so all music/apps/vids/ect

3: once backup, restore the iPad to factory mode, this will fix all bugs/problems/ect that's wrong with iPad

4: disconnect the iPad, shut iTunes down, reopen iTunes reconnect IPad

5: reinstall the software to the iPad and update it to update to date iOS 5.0.1

6: put the backup back on the iPad wait till says: can disconnect The iPad should be working properly after this t
