Why Jade Statues and why almost worthless unplayable Collector's Edition version?

It is pretty much a worthless collection. How many people are in demand of Jade Statue CE?

You probably couldn't sell any of them on ebay and if you did, it would be very few and for a very low price (2-4 dollars) then you give ebay 9%, pay pal 2.9%+30cents and pay for padded envelope and/or top loader.

Heres something else to blow away these non-believers....

I have like 450 of 16,000 Alpha Weaknesses, thats like 2.8 % of the print run. I also have 3 out 50 of the a/b/ce artist proofs so like 6% of those. I also have the only original commissioned Shuler artwork for Weakness so thats 100% of those. Anyways whats up dude, you've probably seen me on motl I have the same handle on there.

There's no way this is fake. Jade Statue is not a card worth counterfeiting. If you were going to do that, you'd do it on something that was actually worth the time & resources to forge.

I understand you're negative responses to people suggesting the cards are fake.

The problem is that assuming the worst is usually the best bet when you see something this unlikely, 99.9% of the time something like this would be fake on the internet.

@Pook365 Well obviously there's a reason this card isn't available anywhere, and when it does pop up, it's $5 or more for this random Collector's Edition uncommon. It isn't hard to see that this one isn't a bluff.

@Delkoe Most were acquired in Collector's edition sets that I bought over the years, which was about 300. The others I got for $2-$4 a piece.

@righteous0warrior This was the basis of my first deck in 1993. Terrible by today's standards, but decent back then. Jade Statue, Mishra's Factory (with Consecrate Land) and Wrath of God, Armageddon, counterspells, etc. I started buying up all the CE sets that I could and plucked the Jade Statue out of each one, so I'd know how many sets I'd bought.

@casdegroot I used to buy every Collector's Edition box set I could, because they were around $200 each. I kept the Jade Statue out of each one because it was my favorite card when I started playing in 1993.

These are not alpha. If you look closely at the edges at the end of the video, you can see that they have a point to it. Alpha cards are rounded edges. look it up, you'll know what im talking about.
