@godkingRoss French speaking Canadians don't call themselves "French Canadians", they are either Quebecois, Acadien (from New Brunswick), or bilingual (from anywhere in Canada). The only people who use the term "French Canadian" are people outside of Canada (or square people from Ontario).

If you go to Quebec and call them "French", they won't appreciate it. They call themselves Quebecois, speak Francais Quebecois (as opposed to "le Francais de France"), or jouale (which is a slang dialect).
