  • that's what you get from gaming using your LED TV it will definitely destroy your TV, just make sure you are using your tv from viewing movies and watching tv programs, and play your games on your desk top then your tv will last longer!!!

  • I had this same problem.. it was my hdmi cable.. buy a new good one.

  • That sucks! I have the exact same tv and have none of those issues(YET!)

  • Do you have/use clean power?? Are you using top notch HDMI cables?? Just two points that I could think of that may be a cause.

  • I have a LED Samsung as well and it does the same thing. Sometimes it does it so bad that I just have to stop watching TV... What I am doing now is unplugging all the HDMI cables and watching TV with one plugged in or if I am watching InternetTV I unplug them all to see if the problem still occurs. So far, I haven't had a problem with the TV when the HDMI cables are unplugged

  • as long as your box is 16:9 it will still be 16:9

  • samsung products always act weird. almost all the samsung products i have i had prblems with!

  • The same problem happened to my Samsung tv I had to get it refunded I'm now considering a panasonic led tv hopefully it has better build quality.

  • You need to open it up and find the reset button. Just take out all the screws and pry open the back panel from the screen with a crowbar. After you do this just look for a red button that says "EASY" on it, then push that button. All your problems will be resolved.....trust me. I'm a limo driver!!!

  • unplug the LAN

  • I have the un46c6300 and shows the same problems,I have monsters hdmi cables and still I try everything and nothing returning this tv back to the store and getting the 8000 series,

  • some one please help i got my 40" hd the other day got it up and running fine then i put my xbox on and it was still fine but when i put the xbox live cable in it worked for about 5 minutes then i lost sound and picture and i cant seem to get any channels back or anything it had freeview hd its nothing to do with the antenna aswell when i test signal it says 2000 bit error level some one please help me !!

  • Try to play a dvd, if the picture still shows static, then its the TV's fault. If the TV does not show static, then it is the signal source.

  • Select 'default' first to reset all options, then:

    1. Turn off 'eco savings',

    2. and turn off 'energy saving'.

Both of these options should be off after you select 'default' so no need to adjust.

Both options cause the TV to dim (& often flicker) in a dark room.

Then select the picture mode (dynamic, etc).

  • lleft side is displaying darker image and right side is displaying lighter image .....this doesnt happen all the time it happens with few scenes only ? ( samsung 40" 7th series led tv)

  • nice

  • I bought a 40 Inch LED 7020 TV. The problem is the picture setting is not stable. If I use (for instance) standard mode then after a while it changes automatically to the dynamic mode. I want to see mild pictures and the dynamic mode delivers very sharp and bright pictures.

Anyway, I don't know what kind of problem it is? I am not sure whether it is software problem or hardware problem? I wanna get rid from this problem and I will appreticate if someone suggests something.

    Thanks,

    Shanto.

  • @shantosumon

    Hi

Your setting changes automatically because your TV has been set to STORE mode.

You need to set your TV to HOME mode.

To reset your TV you need to hold the EXIT button on your remote for 20 seconds. The TV will then reset. Alternatively if this does not work contact Samsung and ask them how to do a full reset.

  • @shantosumon put it in movie mode, its the autodimming feature thats bugging you, everyone hates it.

  • That's one bad LED TV...I hope you returned it. Glad that my Samsung LED TV UNB8000 Series with 5,000,000:1 Contrast Ration and 240Hz Auto-Motion Plus doesn't have that problem.

  • @TooleralusAEnima ey i have a unb8000 n the my only problem about the tv is that it flickers when the picture is in a dark scene with just a little light object on screen

  • @kapitbahayTV Yea mine doesn't do that, I don't if that flicker problem has to do with your TV setting because when I got mine as soon as I took it out of the box I put to my specified settings I like.

  • @TooleralusAEnima

    ratio or ration?

  • appears to be radio interference, maybe somebody near you is using a high powered ham radio ?

  • WHERE did you buy your tv from? Did it have the stickers on the tv right out of the box??? Please respond!

  • 1. check your input (hdmi/scart/composite/component) check it is securly in ur tv

    2. whats the picture quality like??
