I just appreciate darkness in all its forms (having lived thru it) and light in all its forms (living it now). Nothing to be scared of. These images can't hurt u. There's deeper meaning to them though its hard to see. People want to see it as negative but its reality broken down to its primal form. Some of his work that was used so well in the Alien series was really really fantastic, but some of his later work, like his illustrations of Necronomicon seem sadly to be mostly only a of derivation from Alien. i think that 'biomechanical' only really works when the creation has a definitive form.. but so much of the work in this video really seems to lack purpose, other than to mix images of sexual organs with metal in pointless globs that remind us of Alien. i wanted to see Cthulhu.

@NeoTheDragon1 They are his dreams. Twisted reality. A lot of the pain he felt came from women in 1 form or another so thats why there is the images of women, lots of sexual dark imagery. The women seen in a lot of his work is said to look a lot like his wife. She died but he keeps her body. He did however come up with the designs for the alien in the Alien movies...and also for Species. If I have been misinformed someone please correct me.

I agree with O'Bannon , although I feel a bit weird when thinking of stuff like this as beautifull. Its beautiful seen from the view of a man who's job is to horrify and confront (Giger is a surrealist after all) and its beautiful in the same way that it takes a great actor to portray poor acting.
