they handle good i rode one on a demo, but last year i seen two broke down one with a suspension problem (front) and another they were looking at the front like where the cooling raidatior is im not sure of the issue on that one.
Im buying a new 800 PRO R I dont care about how much it is rated for HP I know it will be a very fast trail sled. Idont run lakes. Drag racing bores me.We do have some long feilds in our trails so the power will be nice.Riding safe and FAST on trails is mostly rider TALENT. From what ive seen in my many years of riding is people obsessed with HP numbers have NO riding talent They are the ones lined up behind the bars drag racing. IMO.
Good choice. I rode a 2010 Rush 600 this past year as a demo, and by far, it's the best handling sled I have ever touched. The one place I wish it has more was the powerplant. Not only is the 800 going in, but the main problem that has hurt the 800's reputation is finally fixed. I would tell you what they fixed, but then I'd have to kill you. (haha). Enjoy man!!
ThaJackpine.. i just thought that you might want to know that the Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo 177 HP stock, and if u run racing fuel, aftermarket exhaust, and a re-mapped ECU box, the Z1 will push 295HP... Thats more then a lot of cars have!!!!
thoes new rushes are direct injection. well at least the 600 rush is. my dad bought one and we took it apart to see how hard it was gunna b to change the barrings. much easier than the 2002 edge. but it is by far the best hooking up and bump eating machiene that i have ever ridden! and for a 600 that will keep up with my 800 edge out of the hole, but the 800 will pull away with 155 hp
Polaris doesn not have direct injection. It is "Cleanfire Injection", port injection. No where near as good. If Polaris had DI in the 800 Rush that would be amazing.
Cleanfire is another form of SDI or semi-direct injection. Even in the light of direct injection, SDI 2-strokes are still very clean for recreational use engines.
@TheOfficialKC it would be alot better, but its a verry good sled and engine as is. dont make that the reason not to get it. my buddy has the 2010 modle 800 and i have the 09 600. they are badass! handle like no other sled ive ridden
although i'm a ski doo guy who just reserved my etec 800, this is a nice looking sled, very modernized for a polaris, but if you think for 1 second that sled is 193 hp, your on crack my friend, 155 tops
The 193hp was refering to a Arctic Cat 1000 with a SLP single pipe.
I think that 800 etec has got to be the best sled available right now. This Polaris has Pro-Ride but, that doesn't beat light weight and Direct Injection. Love the new E-Tec sleds.
they're about to unveil the pro rmk but idk what cc it is. go on polaris and go to snowmobiles and click on the first pop up window and you'll see what it is going to look like. it has the front end of a rush but it has a long track on it. it's pretty frickin sweet!
you have a problem with 193hp? You have a problem with clean exhaust, good gas mileage, and a wide powerband? You have a problem with a lightweight chassis? You have a problem with pro-ride suspension?
If you can't say you have a problem with any of those then, yes, I do know what I am talking about. I am talking about the best trail sled ever made.
I hope you are responding to the Arctic Cat 1000 having 193hp. Because that is what I was saying. The AC 1000 has 166hp stock but with a aftermarket, SLP single pipe it makes 193hp.
Dont be silly, xp's still dont handle as good as an iq or even the old edge for that matter. Their engine tech however is very good. Polaris has the best handling Brp has the engines
@dave112492 for the reccord. you couldnt be farther than the truth. i have never flipped a polaris in my life. and just last year i go to ride a skidoo half as hard as i ever ride polarises, and i flip it doing 20 on a small ture. so dont say stupid shit when you have nothing to back it up.
@rangerRZR1 when i have nothing to back it up.......... you don't know me and i don't know you therefore im not arguing about opinion on youtube when its clear that if you set up a polaris up for your riding style, it will obviously handle better then a skidoo thats not set up for you and visa versa... get a clue
@rangerRZR1 or when i have a life, which apparently you don't have because you trying to argue online..... still..... about an opinion......... on youtube.......
id rather have a dirtbike

This would be the best sled ever made if the engine was the Ski-Doo 800R E-Tec. Or just a Direct Injected version of their own.
The ultimate Sled:
Rev XP platform, Pro-Ride suspenshion, E-Tec CFR1000 engine with SLP pipe.
