Great! The only thing I would have added was some small shiny highlights to Lord Nelson to give it a wet effect.
thanks for the vids.
I've been watching PS and AI tutorials for many years and the authors are either to boring, too confusing, too fast, or .. you get the point. You are a very good teacher.
Gavin you are AMAZING - thank you so much for creating these tutorials. My little girl is 8 and she can follow your instructions. She thinks you are the BEST - and so do I!
omg I just want to thank you Gavin! You have know idea how many times you literally saved my ass with your tutorals. You explain everything so clearly. Thank you. thank you!
I kept thinking "this looks great, i bet it's finished" and then you do something to make it look even better and I think "this looks great, i bet it's finished" and the cycle continues. Now it's time to subscribe.
This was a great tutorial! But I was wondering if you could possibly show us how you could make it look like there are water droplets on the lens to really make it look like it was taken in the rain
Thank you so much! I don't know how much worth these thank yous are for you but seriously you are officially my best Youtube Photoshop Teacher. I have watched videos of many, but just recently found you. It's a shame I couldn't find your videos earlier. You just make it look so simple and I can learn it so easily from you.
Please do continue to add more videos as they are all mind blowing.
Thanks mate! I love your work. I can always count on you for a good tutorial. I'm currently doing up some sweet doomsday images of Washington D.C. and this tutorial has really stepped them up a notch :) - James
hey im a big fan of you video's but i have an anoying bug in my photoshop cs5. when i enlarge my brush the bottom right of it dissapears and when i make it bigger it fully dissapears this is with the standard brushes and downloaded ones.
damn I love ur accent. and great tutorial of course. though I prefere it without the blue. but that's a matter of taste. in fact u havent shown any move to me that I didnt know. but u combined them in a way I could not have imagined. especially the perspective transforming. I have used it before, but I dodnt think it would make the rain look like it comes straight onto us. great tut, thanks for sharing
Well, you could show the image before and after just to underline the effect. I guess it would be best to show that difference at the beginning and in the end of the video. Anyways, thank you for the tut.
You are quite the tutor. Lol. Consider me a new subscriber of yours. Now, I am off to make it rain. XD Thank you bunches for this tutorial! *Deletes rain brushes* ;>.>
i have a problem with when i take a photo they are like some part blur or out focus.and i try using the noise filter and smart sharpen filter and lens correction.and i still cant get it right.they look same.
and i am taking photo of me doing card flourish and what can i do to make it really good like a good display photo.
I have photo shop pro photox2 I would like to make an area on a image transparent so that I can use it on a video How can u do it or can it be done to save it to your pictures?and retrieve put on video and still be transparent!can someone help?
I'd probably let some of the rain ease up just at the statue too keep it from looking like it's a curtain of rain in front of the statue, and I'd like to see the face a litle better. And I would lower the saturation as well on the last step. But good work and handy tips! :)
Gotta admit, I started watching this with skeptisim. Most 'rain' techniques using Monochromatic/Guasian Noise and a Motion Blur look so damn bad. But you managed to pull it off pretty well. Anywayz, keep up the good work :3
we could have used the brush to clear the blue adjustment on the statue a bit in Hue adjustment layer to make it more realistic I suppose, But thanks for a gr8 tutorial
