ich habe die band zufällig entdeckt und eig. ist es nicht so mein geschmack aber ich muss sagen sie habens echt drauff. Ich spiele selber in 3 bands und weiss was es heisst auf der bühne zu stehen. das einzige was mich TOTAL aufregt sind die MÄDELS die die band nur wegen dem aussehen hören!!!
Ich mag die Musik der Jungs und die sind ja uch ganz korrekt aber diese Mädchen von denen viele nur an den Jungs interisiert sind und nicht an der wirklich geilen Musik. Natürlich gibt es Ausnahmen :D
Obwohl ich ein Junge bin, kann ich den Text komplett mitsingen! Hört sich auf den Konzerten aber scheiße an, weil meine Stimme nach dem ganzen pogen voll kaputt ist. :DDD

Ich muss ja sagen bin erst jetzt über Vorstadtkrokodile auf die Pilze aufmerksam geworden. Und hab mir auch die neue CD Lautonom gekauft. Ein bisschen so als hätte man Ärzte Songs entschärft und getuned. Aber im positiven Sinne. Mit eigenem Gewürz bzw. Stil.
Und live sind die Jungs echt Hammer. Respekt Respekt. Da hab ich schon bedeutend Bekannteres gehört, das um Welten schlechter war.
Vor allem der Drummer, genial. Und als Schauspieler ebenso.
@sportisdrumer der respekt gebührt den soundtechnikern sowie den instrumenten bzw. den effektgeräten sowie den amps. die jungs spielen ganz gut, aber der gute sound kommt allein daher, dass die songs perfekt abgemischt sind.

Natürlich gibt's die noch!! Im Sommer kommt ihre Mini Tour "Kill! Kill! Kill!" & Fabi hatte ja jetzt auch in "Vorstadtkrokodile" mitgespielt und in diesem Jahr soll noch das 3t Album kommen. Und ach ja, die machen wieder eine Spendenaktion für Äthopien!! Reicht das?
God I just don't get it... TH is TH, killerpilze is killerpilze... you don't have to compare them. both bands have GORGEOUS guys GORGEOUS music... i don't see the point in comparing TH to killerpilze or to jobros or to RBD or etc... take it as it is!
It's not hoarse, it's his voice as it is.. but it's better on the records, but isn't it always that? I think Killerpilze is a very good live band- thinking of their ages and so..
The drummer Fabi is Jo's (singer) younger brother and he has become more hot now than back then.
yeah I thought so and that's why I thought I should tell you that it is like his voice normally is :D maybe a more hoarse than usually, but not much.
I've started out as a TH fan and was introduced to Killerpilze by another TH fan and then I started to read about them in the German magazine Bravo (I'm from Denmark) and am now a HUGE Killerpilze fan and not a TH fan any longer... you can't compare those two :D
Uhm, you know, I listened to lots of German artists cos I really like German language. But honestly I think TH are the best. And sure, TH and KP can't be compared. TH are international stars while the success of KP in such wide scope is a large questionmark.
Well, actually what really fascinates me in TH is their sincerity, which I couldn't find in other bands.
I know what you mean :D I felt it the same way when I started listening to TH, but then they became big in Denmark and I felt that everything was getting TOO big around them and I used to like them because they were different and suddenly were everyone copying (spelled?) them and that made go the other way....
...TH has in my eyes become TOO big and it seems that they have forgot to be near earth - while Killerpilze is still near earth in my eyes and still being big outside German (although not as TH).
no its just because of killerpiilze's image, tokio hotel is just image, hardly music, if you compare them to a different american band that plays the same type of music, sincere music, people would pick tokio hotel more because of their image, they are a boy band and thats that, they can never change from boy band to different band, if you havent noticed, only emo/gay boys like tokio hotel and girls who just like the boys cuz of their looks

I used to like TH because FINALLY someone could indetify me with the same feelings and it felt good, I had lost my mom (last parent) a year ago, so I really needed someone to understand me in someway.
I didn't like TH's image at all at 1st. Their MUSIC - that became the main factor of my love for this band. Bill's look was too weird for me. I had some time to get used to it actually.
TH's music helped me much to get out of a deep depression...
not necessarily... but mostly I do get tired of the artist when EVERYONE is talking about them, I guess I'm one of those who likes that I have something which is "my" thing.
I became tired of TH while everyone was talking about them, fans where copying them and being really bitchy against them self. It went totally NUTS here in Denmark and that made me back out of it more and more, I lost the interest for the band because of the fans...
Ok, I see your point of view. But you know, I'm sure every band wishes to have such success as TH have right now. I suppose KP or some other group wouldn't mind to have such crazy fans who copy them and are even ready to kill for them. Although I don't approve this for sure, cos I'm not that type of a fan myself.
I know about the story - it's all over the TH news in Denmark too, but I still think that he should have act grown and I still think that it is VERY wrong to hit them back just because they have dicided to play stupid!
I know none of us know the bands as persons, but I still think that they are different - just take a look at them.

Maybe he SHOULD act like a grown-up, but I think he couldn't keep back his emotions. He's a human being after all and not a machine that can perfectly control himself.
Sure, these bands are very different in style, music. I think they can't be compared cos of this fact too. But I think u know as another German group appears everybody starts comparing it to TH, like it happened to Cinema Bizarre, Panik or Killerpilze :)
there is just one thing about this - Killerpilze and Tokio Hotel came through the same year and around the same time, yeah they came after TH, but not like years after (we are only talking months here).. I guess you can put it this way: TH has open op doors for other german bands and that's it!
I didn't know they came the same year. Well, that proves TH are really better, cos KP had the same chance to become so popular all over the world. And yeah, absolutely agree TH turned on the green light for other German artists. This is their incontestable merit.
Ok, I'm not goona argue with you anymore. Idk much about KP first of all. And secondly, tastes differ. That's all I can say. I just never forget what TH's music did for me.
I think what had happened is that the german medias was sooo into TH while they had twins in the band and the way I remember it, was Tom and Bill on the cover every week and that was what made them so much more famous than Killerpilze. Tom and Bill has also "quit" school - while the KP guys still more or less are in school and concentrating about that too and that makes it more difficult to have a caree outside Germany,
while TH has been having a bigger optunity by having tutors on tour.. that's also why I think that KP is more down to earth, because it has been important for them to stay in school and still be as they used to be before, where TH have been more focused on making it big.
... I can't say that the same thing wont happen if Killerpilze became as big as TH, but right am I sure that it wont happen, while Killerpilze is 3 VERY different persons from TH. I also think that Tom and Bill has lost connection to the real world - just look at how they have become now... I mean attacking a girl which is "only" making fun and following them, Tom should have stayed calm and been the grown here.. but he choosed to hit her!
Hmm, I think you can't say so firmly that KP-boys are way different persons in comparison to TH. First of all neither you nor me don't know these ppl personally.
You touched the topic of those French girls...well, it seems to me you don't know the whole situation. They didn't let Tom, Bill&their family live calmly: all the chases, scary briefs, threats to their mom...- do you think it's just for fun? Yeah, I'd look at you if a group of sick stalkers in masks was chasing your family.

Natürlich gibt's die noch!! Im Sommer kommt ihre Mini Tour "Kill! Kill! Kill!" & Fabi hatte ja jetzt auch in "Vorstadtkrokodile" mitgespielt und in diesem Jahr soll noch das 3t Album kommen. Und ach ja, die machen wieder eine Spendenaktion für Äthopien!! Reicht das?

God I just don't get it... TH is TH, killerpilze is killerpilze... you don't have to compare them. both bands have GORGEOUS guys GORGEOUS music... i don't see the point in comparing TH to killerpilze or to jobros or to RBD or etc... take it as it is!

It's not hoarse, it's his voice as it is.. but it's better on the records, but isn't it always that? I think Killerpilze is a very good live band- thinking of their ages and so..
The drummer Fabi is Jo's (singer) younger brother and he has become more hot now than back then.

Well, you know, there're different types of voices. And it's not Jo's fault that HIS voice is hoarse.
I've never listened to their record. It's just smb compared Killerpilze to TH, so I decided to check them out :)

yeah I thought so and that's why I thought I should tell you that it is like his voice normally is :D maybe a more hoarse than usually, but not much.
I've started out as a TH fan and was introduced to Killerpilze by another TH fan and then I started to read about them in the German magazine Bravo (I'm from Denmark) and am now a HUGE Killerpilze fan and not a TH fan any longer... you can't compare those two :D

Uhm, you know, I listened to lots of German artists cos I really like German language. But honestly I think TH are the best. And sure, TH and KP can't be compared. TH are international stars while the success of KP in such wide scope is a large questionmark.
Well, actually what really fascinates me in TH is their sincerity, which I couldn't find in other bands.
But oh well, it's your choice :D

I know what you mean :D I felt it the same way when I started listening to TH, but then they became big in Denmark and I felt that everything was getting TOO big around them and I used to like them because they were different and suddenly were everyone copying (spelled?) them and that made go the other way....

...TH has in my eyes become TOO big and it seems that they have forgot to be near earth - while Killerpilze is still near earth in my eyes and still being big outside German (although not as TH).

no its just because of killerpiilze's image, tokio hotel is just image, hardly music, if you compare them to a different american band that plays the same type of music, sincere music, people would pick tokio hotel more because of their image, they are a boy band and thats that, they can never change from boy band to different band, if you havent noticed, only emo/gay boys like tokio hotel and girls who just like the boys cuz of their looks

I do half agree with you, but it's true about who like them!
I used to like TH because FINALLY someone could indetify me with the same feelings and it felt good, I had lost my mom (last parent) a year ago, so I really needed someone to understand me in someway.

I didn't like TH's image at all at 1st. Their MUSIC - that became the main factor of my love for this band. Bill's look was too weird for me. I had some time to get used to it actually.
TH's music helped me much to get out of a deep depression...

not necessarily... but mostly I do get tired of the artist when EVERYONE is talking about them, I guess I'm one of those who likes that I have something which is "my" thing.
I became tired of TH while everyone was talking about them, fans where copying them and being really bitchy against them self. It went totally NUTS here in Denmark and that made me back out of it more and more, I lost the interest for the band because of the fans...

Ok, I see your point of view. But you know, I'm sure every band wishes to have such success as TH have right now. I suppose KP or some other group wouldn't mind to have such crazy fans who copy them and are even ready to kill for them. Although I don't approve this for sure, cos I'm not that type of a fan myself.

I know about the story - it's all over the TH news in Denmark too, but I still think that he should have act grown and I still think that it is VERY wrong to hit them back just because they have dicided to play stupid!
I know none of us know the bands as persons, but I still think that they are different - just take a look at them.

Lol yeah, I'm deff not a crazy fan :) I just wish to see TH live one day.
Maybe he SHOULD act like a grown-up, but I think he couldn't keep back his emotions. He's a human being after all and not a machine that can perfectly control himself.
Sure, these bands are very different in style, music. I think they can't be compared cos of this fact too. But I think u know as another German group appears everybody starts comparing it to TH, like it happened to Cinema Bizarre, Panik or Killerpilze :)

there is just one thing about this - Killerpilze and Tokio Hotel came through the same year and around the same time, yeah they came after TH, but not like years after (we are only talking months here).. I guess you can put it this way: TH has open op doors for other german bands and that's it!

I didn't know they came the same year. Well, that proves TH are really better, cos KP had the same chance to become so popular all over the world. And yeah, absolutely agree TH turned on the green light for other German artists. This is their incontestable merit.
Ok, I'm not goona argue with you anymore. Idk much about KP first of all. And secondly, tastes differ. That's all I can say. I just never forget what TH's music did for me.

I think what had happened is that the german medias was sooo into TH while they had twins in the band and the way I remember it, was Tom and Bill on the cover every week and that was what made them so much more famous than Killerpilze. Tom and Bill has also "quit" school - while the KP guys still more or less are in school and concentrating about that too and that makes it more difficult to have a caree outside Germany,

while TH has been having a bigger optunity by having tutors on tour.. that's also why I think that KP is more down to earth, because it has been important for them to stay in school and still be as they used to be before, where TH have been more focused on making it big.

... I can't say that the same thing wont happen if Killerpilze became as big as TH, but right am I sure that it wont happen, while Killerpilze is 3 VERY different persons from TH. I also think that Tom and Bill has lost connection to the real world - just look at how they have become now... I mean attacking a girl which is "only" making fun and following them, Tom should have stayed calm and been the grown here.. but he choosed to hit her!

Hmm, I think you can't say so firmly that KP-boys are way different persons in comparison to TH. First of all neither you nor me don't know these ppl personally.
You touched the topic of those French girls...well, it seems to me you don't know the whole situation. They didn't let Tom, Bill&their family live calmly: all the chases, scary briefs, threats to their mom...- do you think it's just for fun? Yeah, I'd look at you if a group of sick stalkers in masks was chasing your family.

So what? Very few ppl in Russia have ever heard of metro station, for instance. But it doesn't make me like them.
The most essential thing in TH is their music and not the amount of ppl knowing this group.
