  • Usual (yawn) 'its a car' comments from people who clearly have never ridden a wing. Its very much a bike and handles well - agile, light and astonishingly well balanced. Looks are deceptive... Nothing wrong with having a fast bike WITH all the comforts. Its just the intelligent choice.

  • I LOVE the 2012 model! Now I REALLY want a Goldwing! I get a kick out of the "wingers" that dislike the new 2012 model. Yeah, you're "real" wingers alright. Give me a break!

  • I'm an avid Goldwing rider and Always have been, but was deeply discouraged with the 2012 design. I mean I expected there to be a bigger difference or design than what they came up with. I will always be a Goldwing rider, just very discouraged by the look of the 2012, Honda makes a great product, I know they could have done alot better for this year, and I know they could have as well. happy riding!

  • so basically , you pay the price of a decent new car for the same money, spend almost as much in gas, and when it rains youre fucked, you cant carry nearly as much gear, and if you fall asleep in it for a seccond youre dead, man let a bike be a bike.

  • @Estebanfuturo You obviously have no sense of adventure. Well while I'm not a sold fan of this 2012 Goldwing, particulary in styling some of the other updated functions are a big improvement. Hey your not going to get a fun GT coupe or convertible for less than 40K that's worth it's wait.. Riding is a blast, helps me forget daily problems. Sure one has to be alert, but so should drivers.

  • @20031200 hey man dont give me wrong, i love bikes, but thats a car on 2 weels.

  • After riding and maintaining my rebel for the few months I've been able to legally ride I have to say that the only car and next bike I own will only be Honda (truck will be a tacoma i dont like unibody)

  • I think the audio improvements are fine but it looks like they hired a bunch of engineers from bwm to do the redesign. I just don't like the way the side bags look. I'll stick with my 07 goldwing. You guys really went off the deep end.

  • my dads got the 81 or 85 not sure but he had to sell it cause my parents got divorced. sadder bought the bike than the divorce

  • I can't think of any rational reason why this machine doesn't have an electric

windshield or an overdrive gear. Until then, BMW is getting my money.

  • What happened to the Goldwing getting a sixth gear? Ask any Goldwing owner, at normal highway speeds, the engine is revving very high. Which causes unnecessary horrible 34 mpg, well it's a shame to say my wife's car gets that. I am very disappointed in the 2012 Goldwing. I own one and I do like it but Honda talked REDESIGN and IMPROVEMENT on the 10 year old model and did absolutely very little. I was holding out for the 2012 model but I will be looking at the new Bmw instead. It is disappoint

  • dammmmnnnnn......this is a super good bike i should buy this one

  • Nice car!

  • They show the slower red and blue versions here......

  • just wait till that fucker lands on your leg in a accident

  • Where is my coffee maker?

  • Surround sound so you hear the sound all around you, Really is that such a good thing to have in a world of already over distracted drivers ? What good is an airbag on a bike explain that one to me .Well he hit an oil slick on the freeway and fell off the bike and slammed into a bridge support killing him instantly & the bike hit the guard rail but the air bag deployed flawlessly ! I ride, I know the risks but how much of this junk do you really need ? Pack up the car if you need all that.

  • @WatchToddPattison While I'm not going to argue that the airbag is necessary, it isn't as useless as you are making it. Given that this bike has so much front end/fairing/cockpit/screen, there is alot to hit in a forward collision. The airbag will reduce that forward impact if you run into the back of a car for example. Probably don't do much in most cases if you lowside or fall off as you mention. But that's like saying front car airbags are useless because you could be hit on the side.

  • @freekzero How would they even test something like that ? If you run in to the back of a car or more likely some txting teen pulls out in front of you, your pretty much getting bucked off the bike aren't you ? With the hind end of the bike coming up off the pavement catapulting you over the bars. I still don't see how an air bag is going to help in any way shape or form.

  • @WatchToddPattison I didn't consider the bucking effect before, but thankfully yes, they CAN test that. Which they did, as seen on watch?v=0kWu8mvXDaE

  • @freekzero I just saw the video. Interesting. I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it. I don't think you would lose your life in a crash like that but you aren't going to walk away unscathed either. Did you see how High that dummy was pushed Holy Crap ! I saw another video demonstration of the air bag here on you tube look for this title "Honda Goldwing Airbag official demo" After you watch it, tell me do you think the volunteer soiled himself LOL !

  • @WatchToddPattison but yeah, the whole stereo thing strikes me (personally) as silly. If you want music on a bike, you need in-helmet speakers.
