Interesting dish. Looks great on a plate too. Doesn't raw daikon radish taste a little bit bitter?

what does the daikon radish taste like? i can imagine the bacon and pretend that the sauce is soy sauce xD but I don't know the taste of the radish xD someone tell me so I can eat it imaginarily :)

@sivyig It's not bacon. It's actually just the same cut of pork, unsmoked. As for the daikon, it's a fresh tasting, a little sweet and a bit like small red radishes, but not spicy.

@susantangster holy cow! lol I could taste it. its like thicker bacon that taste more meatier, less salty. and the i think i know what daikon taste like now. there are these brown root thingys that look like potatoes but they're not really oval like potatoes but they're more like the shape of a top and they're watery and fresh tasting and a lil sweet. haha thanks for the info :)
