  • I LIKE TURTLES.

  • now we know what hit the pentagon!!

  • motor size?

  • @geekthinker

    My 1:25 scale Saturn V has a 5 motor cluster. 1-K500, 2-I211, 2-H123

  • Now isn't that some shit! Damn awsome!

  • 30meter high wow

  • Nice... I wonder if an accurate 3-stage version has been built yet? If I ever get good at rocket building (and rich enough) I might even put a working R/C LEM in there for fun.

  • at 0:46 its like "uh houston we have a problem!"

  • I used to watch rockets but than I got a rocket to the knee.

  • @MrSjoerd1995 lmao nice way of replacing arrow

  • Loved it!

  • My 1:25 scale Saturn V has a 5 motor cluster. 1-K500, 2-I211, 2-H123.

    My 1:48 scale Saturn V has also has a 5 motor cluster. 1-G80, 4-F40.

The 1:25 weighs in at 55 lbs with motors, the 1:48 scale weighs in at 11 lbs.

I use Aerotech reload motors for all but the G80 which is a single use.

There are plenty of links through search engines that will help you pick

motors with the weight of the rocket in the math.

Let me know if you need further info.

  • Awesome, Very nicely done ! Now can you help me with a lil info? what size Engine ? Did you make the engine ? How much does the rocket weigh ? Ya see i'm building a really rice rocket right now its about 8 foot tall and weighs about 5 pounds really a bit less but i havent made the parachutes yet so dont know what they will add for weight. I want to make my own engines but as of yet i'm still gathering info, so any help would be appreciated

  • Awesome.

  • mision failed you need to go in to space

  • Beautiful, I hope Al sees and enjoys the flight. Hope you get the full tower up, really sets the look off nicely.

  • So did it make it back to earth in one piece?

  • It came in ballistic, but I was able to salvage the bottom 1/3 and have rebuilt it using the bottom section. It's now ready to be flown again. It's going to be part of a presentation done by Al Worden (Apollo 15) at Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, GA on Nov 11, and then launched on Nov. 12 In Calhoun, GA.

  • Amazing. Absolutely fantastic :)
