I found Nox and Barioth suprisingly easy for all the hype my friends put onto them, i was expecting some extreme shit from barioth, but i killed it without dying, AND it was my first time using a hammer. ever.
Here's a true story: I was online on a caputre mission to capture a Barioth, after wailing on it, me and my teammate went into the main ice chamber when out nowhere I hear another roar and see A GIGGINOX! We managed to capture the Barioth though.
@MeltheHybrid The Gigginox subspecies dont´a appear in Monster Hunter 3 Tri, only appear in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but that´s hard too. Gigginox is hard with another monster attacking you too.
@KoopaKidy Yeah, I like hard monsters that's why I want to fight the Jinouga. I don't have a PSP so it won't happen any day soon. However, what you're asking me to do sounds like suicide. His chip damage (getting hit by his feet when he's tailwhippng) takes off enough with 411 defense. I dread getting hit by his rage body slam and dragonbreath with 0 defense. Kudos to anyone who's succeeded at that.

First of All...This Music is Epic for MH3..Capcom did their thing. It sounds like your gonna die if you dont take this seriously. Plus im willing to help anyone if they can. Im on SAT-SUN and sometimes weekends.
@SilverBandit23 actualy i must disagree buddy, im playing online and the only times i have bad fights with the monsters are when i try and bring the sets that only have 1 skill thats helpful..
(i usualy wear my full uragaan+ set for the defense atmo, later il use my mixed ceadeus set or ala mixed with jho)
@Hobnomb Sadly I don't have wi-fi so I can't play online :( The monsters aren't difficult, they're easy to beat. I just find Barioth and Gigginox to be the most annoying monsters that I fought in the game.
I just go in with my Barioth armor and own them both with the Wyvern Blade "Fire".

@Hobnomb I don't have a wireless router to connect the wii to. I should ask my parents to order me a nintendo wi-fi flash drive or save money to buy one myself. And yeah, the Dancing Flames is way better, I need to buy another ananta boneblode and upgrade. I plan on farming Agnaktor parts for the armor anyway, so might as well make the sword.

NONE of the Monster's are terribly hard in this game. Except Rathalos and Alatreon for me. Rathalos is so quick ot screw me over if I make ONE mistake...and well...Alatreon is a winged puppy with a steroid abuse. Oh and he's really hard. X_x
i do think its a bit of a cheat that the designers only did a certain number of themes, instead of 1 for each monster. On the other hand i wouldnt here this so often or the volcano music as they are both so cool.
DB: Why couldn't every monster have it's own theme? This music fits for the Gigginox, but not as well for Barioth. Barioth should get a bit more of an upbeat tune.

I remember running into the Gigginox for the first time:
We were mining for Bloodcrystals, and I spotted the thing first. Me being the new guy who bought the game last week went, "O GOODY! NEW MONSTER!"

1. It's fast and I like fast opponents.

Bounce bombs only seem to actually get the Gigginox off the ceiling if it's limping away or is tired :o
I've actually blown him off the ceiling once with a bounce bomb... He waddled around for almost 20 seconds :D

All Ludroth are female and all Royal Ludroth are male.

@zebraheadfanplaymh3 Yea I killed both of them today but it took me 30 damn minutes to beat the Barioth and something along those lines for the Gigginox too, even though I find the Barioth much much harder, Gigginox has just some annoying moves!

when i first saw him, i had to kill the Baggi, and i was like : what the hell is that thing ? XD but then, i saw his name and said : YEEAAH, GIGGINOX !! it's just an awesome name XD so, giggi is kinda annoying, but i kept singing his name while fighting him c:
that song is really great, i love it and it's perfect for Gigginox, but not too much for the barioth in my opinion :O

Is it just me or do the most annoying monsters live in the tundra? Great Baggi is so boring that you fall asleep, gigginox isn't hard, but his poison is deadly, and barioth is just a cheating bitch. Also Deviljho has a nest there, so yeah... .

NONE of the Monster's are terribly hard in this game. Except Rathalos and Alatreon for me. Rathalos is so quick ot screw me over if I make ONE mistake...and well...Alatreon is a winged puppy with a steroid abuse. Oh and he's really hard. X_x

i do think its a bit of a cheat that the designers only did a certain number of themes, instead of 1 for each monster. On the other hand i wouldnt here this so often or the volcano music as they are both so cool.

DB: Why couldn't every monster have it's own theme? This music fits for the Gigginox, but not as well for Barioth. Barioth should get a bit more of an upbeat tune.
