I have a class mod called the gearhead that can lag you through the locked armory door. I like doing that more than willowtree b/c it takes way less time and with the gearhead you can enter the armory again in playthrough 2.5, you can't do that with willowtree.
everyone you need willow tree also willow tree is free and easy to use also you can mod your backpack space and level a on gear calculator thats online not willow tree make a gun copy that code then go on willow tree go to weapons workshop then paste the code in there save that shit if this didn't help or make sense watch other youtube videos

@smashbrolink Willowtree simply allows you to edit save files.. you save your progress to a usb.. bring it to your PC ..mod it. .and put it back into place on the PS3..easy.

@Vercetti44133 correct, what you should do is go ahead and play through until you get the SECOND legal opportunity to get in knoxx's place. It will be called Super Marcus Sweep. You can repeat the current quest as well but no point in doing that until you are actually done with the quest line. I dont know how the file is retrieved from the PS3 but im sure it is easy to do , you should youtube it., and yes, you will need a USB stick. But once you have the save file and it is on your computer gtg

umm u do know that there is a bridge on the top floor next to all the transport boxes and u can get to the other side without entering the elavator room/area

@Thesuperguyman u go to deep fathoms (where moxxi is) and take the jump as soon as u get off the highway and go right then take a left and enter the lance camp jump out of ur car and proceed across the energy bridge to roads and then its self explanitory...if there isnt an energy bridge u have to comeplete the bridging the gap quest
I found this on accident and im on PS3. i looted everything and tried to leave, but everything was locked, so i blew myself up. then i tried to come back to finish the quest, but there was a big metal gate that was closed. (the one at 3:01 ) Now I cant finish the mission. Please help
@stormfire180 Umm I think all you need to do is exit, and you'd have to fight Knoxx over again, or you can do the glitch again. I play on PS3 and what I do it just do the glitch, exit, and go back over there beat Knoxx, glitch, etc.

Great video! I had just got the GOTY edition, been playing and heard of the Armory timer glitch. Looks like the old way was patched and as you stated this would glitch the game so...I guess what I'm getting out of this, is there is no way to do this without causing problems unless I wanna edit my save file, which to me is a lot less game breaking than modded shields and weapons. My friend and i had a different method. WARNING this is only if you do not want to repeat the weapon farming...you need 2 people, one person stays up top while the other goes down and loots everything, then when you get to that elevator room the person who stayed above comes down and starts the countdown..

@pulcek9 it is a class mod.. totally legal ingame item, if you watch closely you will see me equip it. it has a high ammor regen rate and i use it when i run out of ammo... logically. but it is not a cheat or anything.
i already did all of those missions so... suppose i use WT to delete those missions that make the armory accessible, theoretically what would happen? would it just reset the missions making me start them all over? or will it screw something else up?
@pakachakawaka well that is a good question, as long as the missions are not part of a chain it will not screw anything up. WT makes an automatic backup of your save so dont worry you will know if you screw something up b/c the game will not even load up. But yes as long as those quest are not a part of series that is dependent on other parts being complete or active then you will receive the quest as if you never did them. And if they are a part of a chain then just delete all relevant quest.
@pakachakawaka well if you delete them it will allow you start them all over as if you never acquired them. however make sure they are not a part of a quest chain because if they are that will mess things up..but you will know as you will not likely be able to start the game if you delete a quest that is tied to another quest and creates a boolean (true/false) error.

@checkerjustin actually no i missed the versions of BL that could be modded i dont use any modded weapons and im not sure that i would even if i could it sort of removes the novelty, afterall using Willowtree is cheating enough. I will only cheat in as much as it recreates the fun experience, like in this case redoing a fun quest. But i will not take away the challenge of the game. every rifle i have i got honest and they are not all that as far as what i have seen on youtube lol.
Can someone answer something for me. I went to the armory for the 2nd time for the mission Marcus gives you. Knew I would have to fight Knoxx again and everything was going normal. I was at the part where the two badass devastators appeared but then was kill by Knoxx. After making it back I killed the badass things but before I knew it I had 3 normal devastators on me and then about a minute after that 4 medics appeared. So is this normal or just a something do to me being killed by Knoxx?

@Kage999 okay then just GET WILLOW TREE like i said , Delete the Quest, log back into the game and do it all over as if you had never received the quest to begin with. that simple.
@AcidGlowx81 this video DOES show you how to unglitch the locked armory door. That is why i made it, i had the locked door as well. the way to unglitch it is to get WillowTree and delete the quest. Then when you log back in the quest will be new again. rinse , wash, repeat.

i already did all of those missions so... suppose i use WT to delete those missions that make the armory accessible, theoretically what would happen? would it just reset the missions making me start them all over? or will it screw something else up?

@pakachakawaka well that is a good question, as long as the missions are not part of a chain it will not screw anything up. WT makes an automatic backup of your save so dont worry you will know if you screw something up b/c the game will not even load up. But yes as long as those quest are not a part of series that is dependent on other parts being complete or active then you will receive the quest as if you never did them. And if they are a part of a chain then just delete all relevant quest.

@pakachakawaka well if you delete them it will allow you start them all over as if you never acquired them. however make sure they are not a part of a quest chain because if they are that will mess things up..but you will know as you will not likely be able to start the game if you delete a quest that is tied to another quest and creates a boolean (true/false) error.

@Kdaouiji this guide is for PC only it can be done on PS3 but i am not addressing that in this guide, there are plenty out there on the PS3 i imagine.

Cant get this to work on 360. Game keeps freezing when I try to select my character. I used modio to get the drive to work. Any help?

@CaptainRon2341 This happened to me, except on my PC. Check the File size of the characters, and if one character has a 0 KB, try removing it.

@checkerjustin actually no i missed the versions of BL that could be modded i dont use any modded weapons and im not sure that i would even if i could it sort of removes the novelty, afterall using Willowtree is cheating enough. I will only cheat in as much as it recreates the fun experience, like in this case redoing a fun quest. But i will not take away the challenge of the game. every rifle i have i got honest and they are not all that as far as what i have seen on youtube lol.

Can someone answer something for me. I went to the armory for the 2nd time for the mission Marcus gives you. Knew I would have to fight Knoxx again and everything was going normal. I was at the part where the two badass devastators appeared but then was kill by Knoxx. After making it back I killed the badass things but before I knew it I had 3 normal devastators on me and then about a minute after that 4 medics appeared. So is this normal or just a something do to me being killed by Knoxx?

@GoldDragoon07 PC gaming is better. games are always ten bucks cheaper, somtimes add ons are free, it runs so much smoother and faster, short load time. plus its alot easier fix problems like the one in this video straight from your PC. oh, and that one kid who said he put in the correct code but the door wont open, the code is blue yellow cyan orange. if thats what your talking about.

NVM. I realized my game was not glitched. I just had to use the elevator to make Knoxx appear, kill him and the red laser door opens. lol. silly me.

@AcidGlowx81 this video DOES show you how to unglitch the locked armory door. That is why i made it, i had the locked door as well. the way to unglitch it is to get WillowTree and delete the quest. Then when you log back in the quest will be new again. rinse , wash, repeat.

@ikido55 yes it can be done but i dont know the method, all i know is you take your save file off the xbox with a USB drive and modify it on a pC
