i watched this movie recently (have to watch the rest soon) and the first five minutes was just so sad, all those men, the scene that will never leave my memory is with one guy looking around then picking up his own arm, that just made me think about what all these soldiers go through. i pray for them every night now. and i hope all of you do too

saving private ryan yett being a good film, it is very overated. the storyline for a start is pretty bad, (a squad in ww2 inc. a captain would never go on single man rescue mission for anyone) the gun and explosion sounds are very very poor. hitpuffs are very very hollywood and they spent an absolutley redicolous money making this film aswell, however the acting is brilliant. pretty much, average war film.
