  • Kurt Winter and Rod Price the most under rated of all time

  • Just as good live as they are on record! Miss you, Kurt.

  • all this video needed was great canadian keybordist and vocalist Richard Janik to make it complete. Richard was the opening act for Burton Cummings. its would have been a classic more so, but it still is a CLASSIC

  • a kick ass perfect performance

  • seeing the guess who on an american t v show, the johnny cash show, was awesome. i was only 12 years old then. seeing the canadian flag on the piano choked me up. it was my proudest moment as a canadian. it still is. GOD bless the guess who. they put CANADA first for the world to see. every canadian should see this video

  • @ejablab we Yanks love The Guess Who too...in fact, I think Burton Cummings was even greater than Jagger as a lead singer. Awesome band ^5

  • WOW, GREAT PERFORMANCE, THE GUESS WHO W/ JOHNNY CASH, ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS, FROM A TIME LONG AGO, BUT NEVER FORGOTTENED!

  • who's the guy next to the drummer who twists his mouth when he sings?

  • @jwmellott That's Kurt Winter.....one of the most under-rated songwriters/guitarists of all time...sadly here they couldn't use much loud distorted amps etc....but as raw as this, it is brilliant! I knew Kurt, what a wonderful, over the top human being, and sadly was called from Canada in Dec '97 by Gar Gillies of Garnet Amps fame to say Kurt had passed. Kurt used his amps and always wore a Garnet Amp shirt/sweatshirt when he played...it's the green one underneath the other shirt here...lol

  • @reptile5150 Kurt was fantastic..definitely agree that he was under-rated...not only THIS track but "Hang On To Your Life" was the one that REALLY proved that to me. R.I.P Kurt Winter

  • The Guess Who were one of the greatest bands of the 60's.

  • Sad that Kurt Winter only made 51yrs. old. R.I.P. Kurt! (!946-1997)

  • "Pain Train" from "Live at the paramount" is worth submersing yourself into

  • Featuring Kurt Winter on lead guitar...cut off sleeve Garnet Amps sweatshirt...where's the can of beer? My high school buddy...R.I.P. Listen to his original leads on the Guess Who recordings 1970-1974 especially "Pain Train"

Phil Rockncabby Larson in Berkeley California

  • I felt like I was back in the 1960"s for a few minutes! Excellent video.

  • Cumming's voice-always blows me away- one of the most powerful set of pipes in rock history. It is one of those voices that just commands your attention. One of the most under-rated singers in history- thanks for posting.

  • @adbartels Right on! I agree 100%... very under-rated, phenomenal voice... rich, powerful, authentic... rock and roll!

  • It's clips like this that make me love youtube. Thanks for uploading it.

  • WOW!!! The best drummer in the history of rock and roll.GARRY PETERSON................

  • The canadian BEATLES !!!

  • At least we know what Jack Black (4:48) and Ken Burns (4:59) did before they became famous...
