hi, nice shots, i found your vid searching about using monopod's for video, i have a cheap tripod and i am looking about buying a better one because this is really bad for tilt and pan, but in the search i found your amazing vid using a monopod and now i need to ask: do you feel satisfied using a monopod instead a tripod? @vamp999 Thanks for your compliment. I use both monopods and tripods in different situations. If you're going to be doing a lot of walking around and need to get shots quickly then a monopod is more than enough. If you're going to be filming a lot of shots of long duration then a tripod would be better for your needs.
After I viewed your work I think you should probably stick with a tripod so you can get those long, steady shots.
@joezeppi thanks a lot for your reply, yes you have right my shots are slow and long shots in most cases like another watch?v=fMwdM5iFUyA (this was shot in a compact minidv), i will go for a better tripod and maybe in a future with some time, money or diy i can go for a monopod to experiment with new situations, anyway first i need to improve (a lot) my composition, color, etc. thanks again for your time.

Only 2 comments..?Maybe You should have tagged it with more, as this is great stuff..
Anyways it was very well shot.
Starts to get into the full swing around at the 1 min mark.
Especially liked the aftermath and the chain gain with their rakes ..
50 1.8 mm I could pick.
At 1.33 would have been also a great still shot ..
Steadicam maybe would of given you more, but Excellent regardless..
