I wouldn't say Noel is too good at all, but I will be happier if they take the whole loop business out, not all that cool looking and it's really time consuming. Hopefully in CS2 she'll be a good enough character without that ground shot loop.
@VIIxKnives The ground shoot loop is cool though, and Noel has to work hard to score damage with it. While everybody else does gets that much damage from a BnB (COUGH RAGNA, even though I main him it'S ridiculous)

Looping should be for showing off, not for praticality if you ask me. If a combo drags on for high damage, it might as well be intricate, not the same 3hit string over and over. Twice in one combo is fine but more than that is just monotonous.

I really love playing Noel, but looking at just how insane the combos R-1 has to pull off in order to do as much damage as Dennou's BnB's is kinda making want to look into other characters.

@jourdal Noel and Rachel play completely different. Noel's bad because all her normals got nerfed and her drive is still pretty bad. She can only get good damage off of risky and gimmicky moves.
Rachel's also completely different. Her zoning, rush down, and damage overall suck, She's literally in her own tier of bad. She can still kinda oki which might be her only saving grace since she needs on average 7 combos to kill someone.
They have mostly the same moves, but the comboing system as well as many other system changes and move property changes have changed who the best / worst chars are.
Dennou-San is a pretty good Jin user.
