I have this album as well! I lucked out and found a sealed copy at a used record store several years ago. Of course I couldn't wait to get it home and rip the plastic off of it and listen to it! Thanks for posting this online!

LoL!!Thank God she stuck to acting,ha HA!!Ohhh BETTE...wot were yoo THINKIN of,LoL!!And she SERIOUSLY wanted this to replace Al's version on the film...she's the BOOM man,she really is!!
In response to whether this song was sung by another artist. Al Martino sang it during the final moments of the film. He also recorded "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte" as a cut for one of his albums. I remember seeing that album displayed years ago as a kid. The album cover said "Al Martino sings HUSH, HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE and other songs" (Something like that). It was on one of those Capitol Record Club ads that used to be in magazines. You could probably find it somewhere.
Al Martino was "Johnny Fontaine", Don Corleone's godson in THE GODFATHER. It was for "Johnny" that the horse head was put in the producer's bed in that classic movie. Hmm...kind of a connection there. Oh such meandering thoughts while having too much time on my hands....lol.
A big-huge thank you to all of you who have been watching my videos, and even subscribed! I'm chuffed to say that the entire album is up now, thanks again for being so patient with me uploading the final tracks! I hope it was worth the wait!

I love Bette, but this is awful. Her version of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" is a much better use of her vocal talents (such as they are).
