This is much too general, did he ever think that Clinton was looking at the people around the camera? Hows that for "it's kind of tough to look at people you've betrayed in the eye"? So looking at the actual people around you in the eye, but not at the camera which is an inanimate object is a sign of lying? Oh yeah, and if you cheat on your wife, you're betraying her, not everyone in the country. This guy was just looking for a profit from the whole Clinton dilemma.

Then whatever they say, don't become defensive, just either have them clarify what they mean, how much it hurts their respect for you and they think respect from other and then thank them.

He's lying. side to side looks are in response to auditory stimuli - yours or another's. Looking up is thinking, looking down is feeling. Mastering these can fool most - think actors. But the biggest giveaway, is excessive or exaggerated emotion, answers for everything when challenged and attempts to intimidate when disbelieved. This doc is a fraud.

this seems to be generalizing BS the mind is as complex as the individual. you are leaving out that a person may have a nervous disorder or other type of psychological disorder that are causing the very mannerism that you are suggesting as a way to spot a liar.

i dont think the eye thing is true, or the fiddleing with your hands and stuff. i do both of those things all the time, im always looking everywhere, up, down, left, right, and im not lieing when i do it, i just have a nervous habit. so...is there any exact way that i can tell if a person is lieing and not just entergetic or nervous?

Hahaha, there are ways you can tell others that you are being honest. Looking up means you're recalling something from your visual memory. If you look to your right, you are often recalling a auditory memory, while if you look left, you are often making up content, which could tell you're lyang.

@irwinsteve Yes, but since they're Americans, it means that they often basically BELIEVE the lies they're told, AND...that makes it possible for them to BELIEVE the lies THEY, themselves, tell...which means that they're often not even lying at all...but have literally been 'taken in' by their own, or someone else's, FABRICATED 'truth.' This is where the science of this breaks down - and we cross over from reality to 'real' imagined fantasy. Very slippery ice, here...
