"Out done" would imply she did better than normal, which isn't congruous with the rest of your comment, which says the look isn't natural enough.

I think she has such a lovely, natural look all the time, the smokey is amazing and it definately looks great on you!! Thanks so much for making this tutorial! I've studied her style been doing mine like hers for a couple years now (simple, not celeb) and this helps a lot! It's funny, I'm already using a lot of the same colors, eyeliner, and techniques, and I'm def. going to try out your tips. Like the cheekstain!

Actually, if you watch the whole tutorial, you'll see that it's the the lighting in the photographs. Her foundation is totally fine; my guess is it's the camera flash. (why *I* hate getting my picture taken with the flash on :p)

A lamp/ other lighting and turning flash off helps keeping your natural skin tone, I've learned!

For the girls who are intrigued by the Tarte gel blush, it's my favorite for everyday. If you apply it how Bethany demonstrates, it's fool-proof and the colors available work on just about everyone, you just adjust for the look you want. Also, my skin gets somewhat oily but it has never been an issue. It lasts all day and washes off easily.
