Woah- I wish we had Lao parties like this in America and before anyone says we do- show us and tell us where. I love it- the young people seem more cultured and calm. Horray! No ganstas or 'hos
Sabaidee !!! Pas mal l'idée de l'invitation à la danse du garçon , c"est dommâge que personne n'a donné quelques leçon de lamvong aux garçons, ils étaient raides & les mains, aïe
J'espère que la prochaine fois, vous corrigerez les petits défauts
it's strange how the girls are wearing lao traditional mix modern but the guys are just wearing plain western clothes. what happened? no one designed a jacket made out of silk? ^_^ just a thought.
I learnt how to dance hmong in this association when i was still in france, now that i left france, nomuch party like this. i remember when i had to do that during ny before.good souvenir.
Sorry to say but this is NOT Hmong dance!! This is Lao dance called Lum Vong. Hmong borrowed majority of the stuff they do from other Asian Groups such Lao, Thai, Chinese. Now, in US everything Hmong people do or performed they always put "HMONG" to it (i.e. Hmong dance, Hmong food, Hmong drink, etc) haha
heheh, sorry i mistook when i typed it hahah. but i did learned lao dance. most Hmong people in US doesnt know how to dance lum wong. But yay it was lao dance . I learned it from a lao teacher.
australia, especially in sydney has about 10-15thousand people of lao origin, theres generally two areas of celebration here. it attract all the locals from the community
No, this is not Lao-French design. I've seen people wearing them USA and Laos, etc. You will see them wearing it where there are large population of Lao (i.e. California, Colorado, New York, Washington, etc). Must be new way of spicing up of wearing "Pa Sin" haha
I think all the Lao should come together and have a big event in the states during the New Year, instead each Lao community do there own thing. There need to be a system setup that all Samakom Lao can access to such events and share info. I should set up some organization that promote Lao culture and tradition cuz Lao culture and traditons are so interesting and fascination (i.e. hire someone to teach Lao class, Lao dance, etc and get community involve). What you guys think?
I agree. I feel like every year, the one in San Diego is just thrown together at the last minute. It gets worse and worse every year. There is less and less involvement. Less people come out every year. Let's not just talk about making things better. Let's actually do it. Whose with me?
What exactly is AFLF stands for again or mean? I know that it is Ass. Femmes Lao en France, but what is the Ass stands for? Basically, what does AFLF mean? haha Just curious that's all...
wow, this is like a good classic song..don;t hear too much of this at any wedding or new year party...

Are there a lot of laos people in France and how are they perceived in France? Is there a lot of racism towards Laos people?
susiequelle 3 years ago
We are some 200.000 including Chinese and Vietnamese Lao. No, there is no racism toward Asaen community. We're rather the example of integration.

Male singer has a good voice. Female singer needs more practining. I think someone should open Lamvong dance class.
