  • that waas very good thanks for sharing that useful and very helpfull thanks...

  • Ayw Will, how can I get thicker chorus without having to re-record myself about 4-6 times?

  • I got two questions and I think you answered one before long long time ago, but if you have an imported instrumental stereo track where should they be panned in the middle or hard left and right? Question 2. when recording my vocals where should the fader first be set at 0db or should I place it at a lower db? Please let me know and help me out with this one

  • Your EQ output is clipping you might want to lower that for no digital distortion, also on your compressor. There is no "good" ratio for any compression on vocals or anything else, it all depends where your ratio is and your threshold is at, depends on how much gain reduction you want to do. The gain isn't there because it is "too low for you" it is there to make up the gain you lost during compression, for example if you doing 4dB of gain reduction, you make up 4dBs. Good attempt though.

  • great vid bro

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • YOU TIGHT DUDE I LEARN ALOT FORM YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK . CHECK OUT MY VIDEO IT IS A SONG LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

  • gosh, i got a heart attack when the rap started... check your levels man!!!!

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • @BobbyGrayProductions This EQ Is Good Yo It Works But I Use A Rode nt1a. It Sounds Super Clear, But Super Thin. Help Me Out On How To Thicken The Sound.

  • @RichMWC It can depend on how far you are from your microphone, also make sure you get a good gain stage before you record so you can have a nice hot signal, don't let it be a few dBs from clipping but keep it around the beginning of the yellow starts in the meter, that way you have good head room. You can try to add somewhere between 200Hz - 600Hz to add a little beefiness to your vocals, but be careful because if you don't add the right frequency it can get muddy, also use compression.

  • Is this song available somewhere? It goes hard man.

  • how do u do ur compressing

  • dude, question , When listening the track on pro tools, it sounds good but when i bounce it, it does not sound good quality, it sound like needs volume. do i need to set up something diferent? thanks

  • @eserobs Make space in the different frequencies, then everything will sit nicely, but no matter what, your music will always sound butchered when you bounce it to WAV or mp3, music shouldnt be listened to in those forms because even the BEST mixed tracks dont have the same kick when compressed to MP3 and WAV :(

  • kool but how do the reverbs and delay

  • How much eq you use when tracking the vocals and what compression setting you use when track (what eq hardware and what compressor hardware you use also)

  • did you use the vocal levelor or vocal compresor setting before setting the 7band eq? I have a decent (not great) mic (mk-219) and it didn't sound as clean as yours.

  • What mic did you use to record this? sounds great

  • Question Does it matter if your vocal recordings peak during recording or the out is peaking when mixing vocals?

  • whats the instrumental you play at the begining? i wanna rap on it its nice

  • Hi, most of my new songs, my vocals seems really light. It seems to not be strong. It does not buzz like for example : tyler the creator's vocals. I don't think I have a super soprano voice. Most ppl tell me my voice is actually kinda deep. What should I do. I always raise between 1K, 5K. I cut off 450 Hz, and some 200 HZ. I roll it off too. It doesn't seem to buzz at all and sometimes ppl have trouble hearing the lyrics. It seems like its a ghost. Can you give me a lil tip? thanks!

  • thanks !!!

  • What is this song you're mixing? this shit goes hard!

  • just wondering why you dont use a desser? its a really good sound im just wondering like i said

  • Much love to you! Don't want to do the production, but hey its better this way and you make it possible. Thanks. I'll be sure to send you the first copy

  • Your EQ output is clipping at times.

  • hey can you make a video on mastering and editing on one of me pro tools session and that way you can show me what i did wrong

  • lol What this video should've said, " EQ and compress your vocal tracks". I just saved you almost 5 minutes.

  • but if I'm rapping voice quality than pro tools than quality voice

  • For the Frequencies that your not using like in your example, like LF & LMF, does it matter if the "IN" is on or not? Does it affect the EQ in any way being ON or OFF?
