I have asked you some questions and need your opinions before, but i need help AGAIN, like i know oyu dont have nay videos about how to convince your parents into letting you get a piercing bc obviously you look old enought o make ur on decisiomns or whatevr, ANYWAYS, she wont let me and i need to know how i can get her to let me, i behave and i have been wanting it for two days, what do i do. im asking you again bc yu replyed quick to my commnt, and i think u knw what yur tlking about plz help.

When I got a spiderbite piercing (two close together on one side of the bottom lip) and they did it inside to outside and it was so fast I couldn't tell what hurt more. How slow did they do it for you to be able to tell?
@MszCandiiBby It felt like a really hard pinch, nothing terrible though. Everyone is different though, so it may or may not hurt you. My advice is if you really want a piercing, get it. The pain is not forever. Be safe in your decisions though :)
I got mine done 3 days ago, and when I woke up this morning it became more swollen than it was yesterday and theres puss coming out of it and my sister said it might b infected, so do u kno if puss is normal and how 2 stop the swelling??
@ilyshanshan Swelling is normal, it goes up and down, take Ibuprofen as much as possible (read directions of course). Get an ice pack or wrap some ice in a towel and gently place around your piercing (outer lip), leave it on for at least 15 minutes, and do that a couple times. Try to eat softer foods until it goes down. About the puss, you should be worried if anything GREEN comes out. Yellow is most likely just some puss/crusties, just clean it off constantly. @ilyshanshan (Continuation) Continue cleaning your piercing with whatever you have been using (sea salt is best), also when you go to sleep, sleep elevated. Make sure your head is above your whole body, may be uncomfortable but it REALLY helps with swelling, I had to do everything I've told you lol. I had bad swelling, and yellow crusties as well. If you feel there's something wrong, make sure to check with your piercer, they're there to help :) So am I, if you need anything else! Good luck hun.
for the first two weeks of having my monroe , mine was getting stuck like under my tooth . i thought something was wrong but its happened to yu too so i guess its normal .
@cordellsbabe Lol, well if it was swollen for two weeks then that's normal, now if it's not swollen anymore, and it's still getting stuck under your tooth, that may not be normal. If it's not swollen anymore, and still giving you trouble, go to your piercer and make sure that they pierced it in the right spot. See what they tell you. Another thing, it might be that the bar is too long after the swelling has gone down, keep an eye on it, & give it time :)
I think I might be getting this done tomorrow! I'm excited, but nervous lol. Do you know how long before I can take it out and leave it out for about 2 hours at a time. I dont want it to close but come sept. I have sports for school =/
@dscallzx Oh that's great! Well I believe you need to wait at least a bit more than a month. Make sure to ask your piercer for exact time, some say differently depending on how you're healing. Mine took longer because I am very sensitive so make sure to ask your piercer as many questions as you feel needed, and let them know that you'd need to be taking it out for sports! Being nervous is absolutely normal, I thought my stomach was going to pop out when I went for mine, but I just focused on the fact that I really wanted it, I was very still and did exactly what the piercer told me to do. The numbing I'm not sure about...I had no cream or ice, it was all raw lol, you could always ask but I'm not sure if all places do that. And yeah I had to wear a bigger bar too haha, but now I got my Bioflex so I'm much happier ^-^ The crust on the outside is quite normal as long as it's not green! @GummyBearsOmg Jobs that you will want in the future! Sad to say, lots of places judge people by piercings & tattoos, so if you're ok with wearing a retainer (Bioflex bar) and having that show then you'll be fine :) Since I thought about it A WHOLE LOT before I got it, I'm very happy I did. I do recommend it if you're sure about the choice. Inside, at first it's a metal bar so if you do get swollen it might feel sharp for a little bit, but it's not bad at all. (continued)
@GummyBearsOmg After your piercer says you can get a Bioflex, which I just got, it's sooo much better than the metal! Way more comfortable and it minimizes damage to gums & teeth. One thing, MAKE SURE that your piercer pierces it at a good level where it's not always rubbing up on your gums/teeth. A little is ok but if it's always, it'll annoy. But anyways you'll be fine! Go to a professional, it might be pricier but it's worth it! I wish you the best of luck hunn! Let me know if u need any help

If it doesn't go down let's say...5 days and it's bothering you too much, or it swells even more, ask your piercer if he can put an even longer bar. That's what I had to do and I just got the one I was pierced with again a couple days ago. Also use an ice pack on the inside of your lip, make sure you wrap the pack in a thin towel, or paper towel, it works miracles!

I just have a question, how does the back of your lip look now? Are your gums making a circle around the jewelry? I got mine done I think 2 weeks before you. Mine is healed, but I'm afraid it will end up like the video I saw Death 2 Manroe :(
@adahdz08 Well mine looks fine. I haven't noticed any circle in my gum, but that could be because of where mine was placed. Some people get it lower, higher, more to the side, which could come in more contact with the gums/teeth. Mine barely touches either, so I lucked out lol. If yours is coming in contact with your gums/teeth too much, then I'd def suggest getting BioFlex bars! I am going to get them soon. They minimize possible damage a whole lot. @iBenjafied It's lovely! Well I do know of these bars that are like rubber, they're called BioFlex bars that do not damage the gums. I am going to get them soon. For now though I must have the normal ones, for healing purposes. You can always get the Bios though :) That way you can be safe while having the piercing!

Well I did wear makeup before, obviously they clean the area right before so they remove whatever you had there. Afterwards you cannot put any makeup near the area of the piercing, so I can't put any foundation near it, but that's ok, it's just a little part :)

Well congrats on your Madonna!!! my first piercing besides covering my ears was my tongue and that wasn't bad...i had both brows done but took that off and the only one i have kept was my labret which you can see in my videos,i got it with a hoop and it didn't hurt that much,i had the one tear thing come down also...what are you going to get next??
She went into shock while watchin the other girl get pierced and passed out and fell in the floor after we saw she was fine everyone in there laughed at her.
They do the same thing for swelling with a tounge peircing it's good you want to keep it clean alot of ppl i've known will forget about it in like two days and it allways turns out bad.
The best story/advice i could give about piercings and tattoos is remember to breathe
i went two friends years ago and we were all getting piercings i had mine first and it went fine then one of the two girls i was with got her tounge done and was setting on my lap waiting on the other girl well(cont)

@cordellsbabe Lol, well if it was swollen for two weeks then that's normal, now if it's not swollen anymore, and it's still getting stuck under your tooth, that may not be normal. You can get a retainer , which is a clear bar , with an o-ring on the outside .

yes ruth it is okay to make it pop out my brother does it all the time with his lip ring and there was not problems....except him acting stupid.....not from that though he just likes to act so =)
