IMO campaign funding is at the core of corruption in Government in the U.S. Until that problem is addressed every other important issue will not get the due consideration necessary, solutions that are created will further skew an off-course system.

@kernbanks well... Europe is not under one rule, there are several countries with very different governments and politic views. Calling Europe socialist is just ignorant. Norway has what we call a socialist democracy. We have a low unemployment rate, we also have one of the highest percentage of working women, who even return to work after some maternity leave. Yes, it is an expensive country to live in, but I get free health care and free education (even university).
@gulljaatten I lived in Europe for 7 years before returning back home. After obtaining every passport stamp west of Ukraine I feel I am more than validated in my opinion. Government run health care, government influenced media, individual citizens working long hours for the government to take excess taxes (often more than 40%) is very socialist. Your influence on youtube is great and further responsability should be taken. Taxing the really rich makes sense to me. They benefited from our country and how it works them most so they owe the most back. To anyone who tries that tired argument that rich people work harder go f#*$ yourself. I have known a lot of people who aren't even middle class that work many times harder than the richest people in the country. Also, most of them had rich parents so more opportunities.

But, a successful and thriving capitolist economy can support itself on 10-15% (Gingrich plan) or even 0% (RON PAUL plan). and your $2000/mo wage would mean a $300 tax to the $1,000,000/mo paying $150,000 - more in a month then you would pay in a lifetime.
Don't hate the rich because they (or someone in thier family) worked hard and made them that way. Get to work yourself and invest.

@kernbanks well... Europe is not under one rule, there are several countries with very different governments and politic views. Calling Europe socialist is just ignorant. Norway has what we call a socialist democracy. We have a low unemployment rate, we also have one of the highest percentage of working women, who even return to work after some maternity leave. Yes, it is an expensive country to live in, but I get free health care and free education (even university).

@gulljaatten I lived in Europe for 7 years before returning back home. After obtaining every passport stamp west of Ukraine I feel I am more than validated in my opinion. Government run health care, government influenced media, individual citizens working long hours for the government to take excess taxes (often more than 40%) is very socialist. Not saying it is bad... it just places the collective over the whole. Americans put more value on the individual.

My point was that Europe is not like the US, we have very different governments and rule.I find it problematic as you categorize Europe as a whole when you talk about taxes and socialism. There is also very big differences between western and eastern Europe.
