  • This is excellent! Does anyone know where I might find a WMM profile for 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second? (That's the format my camera shoots, so would look better to stick to that.)

  • Thanks So so so so so Much i really needed this I LOVE YOU!

  • Kid, you are a god-send.

  • Wow, this is great. Thanks! 5*

  • no thank you ;)

  • thanks but can you do a video to show how to get flip ultra HD videos into movie maker in the first place. i cant drag theme in because it shows a circle with an X though it!

    i cant find that anywhere

or at least just tell me how???

  • @ADDfilmsDX I have the same prob. I've found that if you create a movie in flipshare, then the clips become wmv and you can import them into wmm.

  • thanks it works for me

  • fantastic! thank yer!

  • I just wanted to say you are a GOD! I consider myself and technology to be enimies at best, you may have just changed that for me forever! I might just have a video that's not in pieces! Thank you so much for helping me become a movie master(ok not a master... but def. better than where I was)!

  • Nevermind my last comment I got it :)

Thank you very much, and you sound very intelligent.

  • It didnt work for me. Its not showing up as a choice to put it as. I tried all of them.

I am sure there in the right spot, and I followed all of your directions. and I am using XP.

  • I did the same vid on mine but quality's a bit better. And you dont have to download anything.

  • Thanks it worked 5/5

  • and what about importing MKV files into movie maker?

  • You can't import Matroska Video Files into Movie Maker without converting it to an immediate format first, for instance, MPEG or WMV.

  • thanks kid, but what about 16:10 aspect ratio and 1280x768 resolution? and what program are you using to record desktop video? :)

  • I use Camtasia Studio 6.

  • Excellent Top Man.

  • wow cool helped me a lot thank you 5*

  • Which profile is better and which one do you use?

  • Well it depends, if you're using it for YouTube (and you want HD). I'd use the 1280x720 one. However, you can use the others if you need those resolutions.

  • Does this work for Movie Maker 2.6 (XP like one for vista users with not as good graphics)? Please reply because I don't want to try it if it won't work.

  • I haven't heard of that version therefore I do not know.

  • Thats fine, i've learnt how to produce in widescreen, which one of my videos will be on :) and i will list you in the description for helping me find out how to produce in widescreen! Thanks :)

  • Basically, it's the XP version of Movie Maker on Windows Vista.

  • Thanks a lot and great video dude

  • Can you teach me how to hack into my school computer?

  • lol bad idea since teachers are constantly watching you these days...

  • true...

  • No, I'm saying, it was going litterally frame by frame and sometimes slower, it had to have been my computer tho, I restarted ima try it again.

  • I have a question ....... how did you get my little video appear in the corner at 0:33 ?

  • Is it just me or was this going litterally frame by frame and slower?

  • When you are rendering a video with resolution, of suppose, 640x480, in HD...it has to upscale EVERYTHING and ENCODE all of it...hence, each individual frame is upscaled and deinterlaced one by one.

  • woah you awesome! ty!

i have a question what video software you use for your intro and what for your screen recoreder?

    srry for my spelling!

    im from mexico!

  • I made my intro in Sony Vegas 8.0. I used Camtasia Studio 6 to record the video.

  • like the cool new intro music. cool accent and vydz dude:)

  • thanks a lot

  • ive made a batch file to install it ill send you a link

  • Yup thanks for sending me the link! Much appreciated!

  • Shame that HD doesn't come with XP Movie maker as standard. Would save all the messing about.

  • Yup I know! It's because, when XP was released, HD didn't really exist (they were experimenting with 480p :P). Vista, however, was released when 1080p was around!

  • I know :(

They could have included it on Sp3 though.

  • Yup they sure could've :D

  • what about vista?

  • go to illage2s video for how to do it in Vista

  • Cheers :D

  • O_O My video lol, send it as a response and I'l allow it. I couldn't do it yesterday as I was ill.

    great video 5 stars.

  • Ahh thanks a lot anyways. Hope you getter better soon, and thanks John!

  • Thanks. It's not as bad as the one I had before Christmas last year so don't worry.

  • hey im going to make it even more easyer ill make a .bat that installs them

  • Yup got it! Thanks :D!
