YES. This game is merciless. It's for people who love pain. Although it has some great characteistics. You can carry over equipment/items/food in the storage houses you encounter in different villages along the way but if you happen to have your fave ultimate sword equipped when you die, say goodbye to it.

Dungeon Crawlers rock! # crunching, strategy, skill, I think they really let you become the character because theirs more aspects of those characters you need to manage.
