@LaMilza Cheap? Once you get used to a light action, you can't go back. It's so much easier to play fast runs of notes or play for extended periods of time... even if it is a bit less "expressive." Of course, that means you need to learn to control the keyboard instead of letting it control you.

have you ever tried to hook the electro up to a weighted midi controller. I heard it was more expressive and I'm thinking of doing it. just wanted to make sure its possible.

@tyleryesta1 I run my Nord through a Kurzweil SP88 all the time. 88 weighted keys are really nice when you want them with the Nord. Kurzweils also have pretty good MIDI "brains" that will give you better control over the presets. I recommend it if you've got decent cheap stage piano.

Sounds like it's going through a limiter, the attack of the notes is oddly muted compared to a real Rhodes.
