Thanks a lot for the upload! I don't suppose you have the documentary about JHs life that was made in the 2000s? I think it was on Channel 4 a few years back, but that's all I remember, other than it was a very candid look at his life and career and an excellent documentary.
i picked up james hunt when i was a taxi driver in aberdeen scotland he was a real nice genuine man and so down to earth. not at all big headed, which i'm sure celebrities of today could learn from. i count myself lucky to have met him
Yes without any doubt.....but here we have another type of pilot, most simple , this is the real formula 1, no aerodinamics, no technological systems, but only the human factor...
Thanks for uploading this! Does anybody know anything about the song the chap is playing? who is it? What is it originally from. It was featured on the documentary the "the real james hunt". If anyone knows of its origins please get in contact! Thanks
The tune is the "Trumpet Voluntary" by Jeremiah Clarke, properly a rondo for keyboard named Prince of Denmark's March. This piece was incorrectly attributed to Henry Purcell for many years, particularly in a well-known arrangement for trumpet, string orchestra and organ by Sir Henry Wood
that you'll never come into formula 1.... that you'll never come into formula 1.....that you'll never come into formula 1..... etc

I grew up near Brands Hatch I used to love the roar from the F1 engines on race day. He was my hero back in the 70's.

The gear lever came off and he won the race?! Haha!

@RoLLWithITOasis1 Yeah on lap 2 while he lost the clutch on lap 9. A lot of other drivers would have retired or dropped back.

Awesome driver, blagged plenty of crumpet and could even play the trumpet. If he could shoot, he'd give James Bond a run for his money!
