Awww. This is my fave animated film and I'm so excited it is coming to BD next week. I adore the music, too. I was in middle school when it came out and we got to play a medley from it in our spring concert. LOVED it. Great editing here. I'm not around nearly as much as I used to be, but I'm very sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. I will keep you in my thoughts. *hugs* T
I think the emotion in this video is contagious. Not simply feelings of nostalgia or sympathy for Simba or anything one would think of automatically either, it's almost like this video is a reflective glass for emotion of all kinds. You pour your heart into it, people see their own hearts reflected back........I dunno, maybe I sound crazy, but that's just what I think.
P.S. Lovely editing and colouring as usual of course. :-]
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME DD: ?! .. I'm crying like a baby over here. You used my all time worst cry movie with one of my all time worst cry songs. That's a double combination of tearjerker. But it was a beautiful one, really emotional. Your editing fits with the song and I like how you used overlayers but didn't make them so noticable that it would distract from the video. I think my favourite part was at 1:20, with Simba on the pride rock. That growl with the music is just so powerful.
OMG Lonneke. I'm crying my eyes out. Seriously, I'm not just saying it because this might be the best tribute of this movie I've ever seen. I'm saying it, mostly, because this has been my favourite movie ever since I was 4 years old & my mum came home with the VHS... Gosh, the song choice killed me. The soundtrack is as powerful as the movie itself, and you used it perfectly! I can tell you put heart & effort on this. WOW. I'm blown away. <3
Lonneke! ): I was never really into the Lion King. But this video is so heart breaking. It's so sad! ): I loved the emotions you put in it, the song is just beautiful. The overlay is perfect for it all. You are a Lion King vidding goddess! I loved the growl when the music reached it's highest point. So beautiful! I love it ! *_*
I can't. Too fucking perfect for words. Just... beautiful beyond words hun. My favorite movie of all time and you vidded it so damn perfectly. So emotional and deep! I'm so happy that you had this to help you express your feelings and it turned out to great. I'm really proud of you! I love you <3
wonderful video editor. My heart aches so much while watching this video, both for Simba and for you at the same time, because you are willing to put yourself into such a vulnerable position which is making you strong at the same time, by expressing yourself through this piece of marvelous art <3 it's so incredibly beautiful, so pure and so emotional and intense. You should be really really proud of this. <3
each time. And this video is no different, the incredibly intense and emotional music was so beautiful and this piece of music is truly one of my favorites of Hans Zimmer and when I heard it in this video I got goosebumps all over my arms at once and the music combined with the clips and the emotions captured within those clips, is just completely overwhelming and so immensely beautiful. I can just see how much of your own emotions you put into this video, and that is what makes you such a
okay, to be completely honest, I really don't know how to start describing how I feel about this video. The fact that you vidded the Lion King is already such a huge plus, I absolutely adore that movie, it's one of the best Disney films in history <3 and the way you started with the parallels, it was so captivating from the beginning, with the subtle transitions and the colored overlays. I really don't know how you manage to capture the viewer's attention in the first five seconds but you do
1:20 gave me chills, such a wonderful video. Great job
