@LPRabidDuck Please, enlighten me. What rudiments did "The Rev" use? Did he do any off beats? Polyrhythms? Mixed meters? It all sounds pretty simple meter to me. Sure, he's a solid drummer, but he wasn't some god on drums. If you want drum gods, check out KC Howard (ex Decrepit Birth) Sam Paulicelli of Decrepit Birth, Francesco Paoli (Fleshgod Apocalypse) Ron Casey of Rings of Saturn and Tom Hoopes (Depths of Chaos). The Rev will seem like a fucking bitch compared to these musicians.

That band is all made up of hype and fan girl/boys. It's generic metalcore that is just bad. He can't hold a scream, and can't sing.

@DAMIVzombie Practice your technique at lower speeds until you can do it without even thinking about it then gradually take it to faster speeds. Also be sure to do double bass exercises practicing control.
