Bodyguard was only made from 60 cr and ended up quadrupling its budget, while ra one was from 170-180 and didn't even double its budget and was a recovery success so in comparison Bodyguard kills ra one. The films main market is in india and how can ra one only manage 114 cr in india when srk ties it up with like 30 brands and Bodyguard still grosses 140 cr . that star power my friend. a med student like you should know better.

Tht is the problm with todays movies, Producers n directors r aiming only for 1st week n sum cases evn 1st weekend. If u r a real fan of any actor, be it Aamir, srk, salman, akshay, hrithik u should be concerned abt the content of the film. for eg Askhays last few films have been disasters bt all of thm have covered the costs n evn made profits, collections toh almost 90% of the movies r doing thanks to the Multiplex culture :D

Whn we r sum1s fan we tend to get a bit biased towards thm, bt at the same time sumthing which I like is nt necessary tht evn u will like, m with most of the ppl who did nt like the movie, coz 1st thing was tht plot was very predicatble(happens with most of our films) bt the talent lies in presentation, though special effects were good according to bollywood standards, it was no match to intl standard, n these days hollywood flicks r watched more in India, so it was nt up to the mark

@TheCoolguy143 u cant say that most people hated Ra.one.u can see the fact that the likes here on youtube are more than double the number of dislikes.and all the plots of such movies is predictable.we all know that good always wins in good vs evil but the fact that ra.one was stronger than g.one kept the audience glued till the end.and it actually got a thumbs up from hollywood.it was unique which is an achievement.and ra.one raised the bar i'll always be thankful to SRK for that.:)

Look bro if the movie is good it will run for packed or atleast 70-80% full for 2-3 weeks. Bt with Ra1 aftr the 1st week evn the cinema houses were nt full. I told u, u r an ardent SRK fan, so does'nt matter wht I say, u will nt accept tht it was nt gud, for tht matter u should not accept also, coz u liked the movie...for me Om shanti om was a dud bt many srk fans liked it(loved it also) n u knw tht SRK has huge following so the thumbs up which u r sayin is bcoz of tht :D
