hahaha! You are so correct! Disk Cleanup is a program. That cleans inside the disk by cleaning up the recycle bin and etc. The hard drive disk are 100% clean and untouched. Playing with it will destroy it.

nope never got it fixed. theres a data recovery program on the latest nero that might be able to save some of your data

Thanks for the tip ! Not sure if any recovery program can help.Since I have this clicking I can't access any partition on that drive. My pc won't even recognice it.:( Guess there is not much I can do with such a program.
