  • Ive Got This And Its Wicked

  • i have a black berry bro and im thinking of going to this is this worth it ?

  • @peytonmvp80 no. I have one of these phones and the touch screen needs a lot of work. The system freezes a lot as well

  • texting is TERRIBLE on this phone if you don't do T9!!!!!

  • Does this phone do qwerty?

  • me no likey

  • HAHA my diamond coming in tomorrow~~~!

  • yay my diamond2 is coming on thursday :DD:D:D::D:D:D:D:D::D;D:D;:D;:;:D;:D;:D;:D

  • yayyy my diamond is coming on friday :D

  • im in between getting this phone for sprint, or getting the treo pro by palm.

im not sure if i want a touch screen keyboard, cuz i text a lot, is it hard? i heard it gets annoying. any thoughts??

  • nokia 5800 got a very good texting touch keyboard!

  • HMM I wish it had a regular qwerty with the accelerometer.... i hate suretype shit

  • does Alltel have this phone with the sliding keyboard with it?? or is it just this one?? please reply to me!!!

  • They have both

  • this phone sucks!

the G1 and samsung behold are the best

  • well despite some flaws the touch diamond is actually pretty good and btw the samsung behold suks ballz

  • how's this phone compared to the Nokia 5800?

  • Lmfao buddy this phone is amazing.

  • its pretty prricey lol

  • Free on a 3 year contract, can't beat that!

  • in 3 years there will be phones with like 15mp cameras and what not

  • the htc touch pro has a keyboard

  • too bad i would have been done that text in 80% less time then it took him touching his screen, would be a perfect phone if it had a slider keypad.

  • they do have a slider version..... from research, there is the touch diamond (the one shown) then the version with the slider keyboard is the touch pro. I hope sprint has both versions.

  • re: miamilnchez, yeah the touch pro looks good, however more expensive and i do not like the second pull out slider, i find it un-necessary.

  • Actually, typing with the on screen keyboard (in numerical phone keypad mode, in T9 dictionary) is just as fast as typing on a normal phone keypad. Trust me, I own a Diamond. Also, words that you form are automatically added to the "my words" list

  • wow can I enable this feature? Thanks!

  • If you have a Touch Diamond it should be automatic..

  • Oh wow, I hope Sprint is going to have this phone.... I would love to replace my HTC mogul with this one. The diamond has a nice sleek look. Im willing to part with the keyboard and go touch for all the extra goodies.

  • lol its coming out like Monday i think , its the first one with it coming out

  • sprint is the first source for it coming out i mean for US

  • ha yeah ..

but i have a question, should i get this phone or the samsung instinct ?

im having a difficult time choosing haha

  • Really? There is no comparison... get the HTC. The instinct is not even in the same league. The comparable to the HTC is the Samsung Omnia. The HTC is still better. The HTC has sold more units in the first day, than the iphone in its first week in Europe.

  • its not expensive at all, hah and i don't really like the texting ..

  • That's just one of three ways how to insert text into the HTC Touch Diamond.

That what you just saw, was the Diamonds T9 function. Of course it also supports a touch-keyboard layout with the whole alphabet.

If you prefer writing, it also has a handwriting-detection built in which you can activate over options, where I recommend using the Stylus integrated into the HTC touch Diamonds design. It qould be a bit hard with a single finger.

  • go for the sliding keyboard version

  • Its an amazing phone, but quite expensive

  • wow im amazed with this phone

  • This is nice. Seems like they really did everything they could to make this a one-handed device. HTC phones before this, like the Wizard, then the Tytn, then the TyTN II all had the problem of really needing both hands to use it.

  • good thing they also hav the htc touch pro that has a keyboard with this phone

  • you dont have a clue

  • can you also get all the letters separated from eachother?

  • Yes, you can also get the full qwerty keyboard. The keys are obviously a bit smaller it's easier to typo. I have small thumbs so it isn't too big a deal for me.

  • and a small penis too

  • good

  • Domain Name TouchDiamond . n e t is for sale. Also, Alot of other Touch Diamond Names... check it out !

  • verizon? release date? price?

  • Sprint. HTC are mostly Sprint, price is $ 749.99 - 799.99

  • The funniest part of all is that Balmer was laughing with the fact that the iPhone didn't have a keyboard and now almost all the the new (smart)phones are running onder his mobile OS (Windows Mobile)

  • The tytn 2 is way better. Both phones cost the same. This phone is slow as hell with the touchflo 3d, too buggy. Plus they havent fixed the camera.

  • Buggy? Of course those beta ones were buggy type in htc diamond review and it shows the actual phone and its not to buggy at all.

  • w w w. AllTouchDiamond .c o M

Join the HTC Touch Diamond Club.

  • call that number

  • * htc tytn ll is better

  • TyTN II sucks, i have it and it's slow as hell *cough*video drivers*cough*, but it can do alot. diamond and touch pro seem rather fast, i might take the touch pro, cause it has a full slide out keyboard, like the TyTN II

  • copyed the pearl?

  • It actually has a full qwerty keyboard. This is just one of the handy options that you can have in text messaging. There are 4 I believe. There's no need to be bitter =)

  • When you say full qwerty keyboard do you mean a full keyboard? When each letter has its own space?

  • it has a full qwerty keyboard where each letter has it's own space, the "pearl" type keyboard (can be used with or without t9), an alpha-numeric keyboard (which can be used with or without t9, like on a flip-phone), and hand-writing recognition.

  • The Diamond doesn't have a keyboard...

The Touch Pro (Which looks the same(very similar?))on the other hand, does have a keyboard.

  • yayotters, the Diamond does have a FULL QWERTY touch keyboard. Don't argue with me because I have one. It does not have a HARDWARE keyboard, but a TOUCH keybord.
