  • Comment removed

  • brilliant scene...

  • I've never heard of this movie before so I'm incredibly confused

  • @Cocoaplata it's a gay porno

  • I cried even more when the little girl wasn't hurt

  • I consider myself to be a hardy guy, but when a scene like this im as soft as putty and you just cant not have a tear.

  • @ibleedhuskerred1394 Dude they're persian

  • That Persian man got on my fuckin nerves in this movie he was so damn stupid

  • Lol whatta dumb bitch XD

  • Lol I was the only one that disliked. This scene was so cheezy.

  • @demo2382 Troll much?

  • This part always makes me tear up even when i now know she isnt hurt cuz they were blank:p but yeah shes like the cutest kid i ever seen:) thats what makes it sad thinkin she got shot:(

  • I'm Curious if the parents are hold at gunpoint with another person, and the daughter will protect them again. (But the guns don't have blanks in them.)

  • I'll be honest, this scene made me cry.

  • I was about to cry mt friggin eyes out.

  • And now Im crying again... thats why I will never see this movie again...

  • ABSOLUTLEY... i was SO ANGRY AND SAD... CRIED CRIED CRIED.

  • Overrated movie

  • He feels SALTY!

  • Shit I remember this scene, made me Cry Instanstly!

  • The mexican dudes daughter saved his life, with the invisible cloak....The old mans daughter saved his life when she bought blanks....Moral of the story.....Daughters always save fathers...

  • @coolerking37 i mean fake in that the emotions are fake. they're so overacted that they become just stupid, empty, meaningless, unconvincing, sentimental and annoying. this is a perfect example how people get deceived nowadays. people below here like to get deceived. i don't.

  • the most stupid movie of all times. my god everything in this scene is fake.

  • @jherba Of course, it's fake. It's a movie. What you think those people were really mad? They're actors, silly.

  • @jherba

Let me guess, you're still butthurt that Crash beat Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture? Get over it.

  • @ZeroGrowth i dont give a flying rats ass about the oscars. they give crash the best picture to make it look like they are against racism, yet over the past 60 years how many black actors have been given an oscar? if anything, this movie shows how racist hollywood really is.

  • @jherba i lol at your attempt to make such a great movie seem like the exact opposite xD If this movie shows how racist hollywood is, then your comments show how deep you can take a black cock down that self-righteous throat of yours. Assumptions make the world go 'round :D

  • @jherba you are the self righteous one here. you want a pat on the back for being so smart?

  • @amxmachine no i am fighting against sentimentality, not trying to be smart. there's a huge difference between being emotional and being sentimental. the more sentimental you get, the more your emotions are out of reach. this movie is making racism seem like something sentimental. you think slavery is sentimental? you think genocide is a real tear jerker? well then. go ahead. get your tissues. and cry. that'll help world peace.

  • @jherba you are an angry person. i can sense that. something as small as that should not have this effect on normal people. i have no idea what is driving this anger but just stop dude. do you have a child? you have no right to measure the attachment a specific individual holds for their child unless you have been there for the whole thing. good people make their children their world and when that child is taken away they cant deal with it. have you ever seen someone break down?

  • @amxmachine you are just prooving my point how you are removed from your emotions. you confuse irony for anger. what this scene up here shows, is how one is 'supposed to act' if this would happen to someone. if it would happen to you, would you immediately grasp what is happening and start crying like that? and if it turns out he didnt shoot your daughter, would u just go inside? or would u be angry? i know i would. not because im an angry person, but because i am in touch with my emotions.

  • @jherba your emotions and mine are different. hence why i called you an angry person

  • @amxmachine stop whining and start watching some real movies my friend!

  • @jherba slavery is a sentiment buddy. if you would get mad if someone enslaved you or someone you love then it is deemed wrong in your mind. THAT is sentiment. it is a personal decision to act without the PAINFUL emotions towards people you do not know. its a defense mechanism... im not going to let myself get teary eyed if i dont get attached to the people i just saved. it is a choice that is up to the individual to posses. not you!

  • @amxmachine that just made zero sense

  • @jherba people might react differently in a situation than you, and with the way you are carrying on i doubt youd ever see that. no matter how long i took to explain it you couldnt see past what you think is the right way to react, but thats just how it is. you feel that is the correct action and you disagree. no need to say that you are fighting sentiment. thats like fighting other peoples hearts and minds because they are different... jesus

  • i said it once about another video i watched and i will say it again now, the title says it all

  • I never cry at movies becuz of how much I realize its fake...but this scene by it self always brings goosebumps to my skin and if I CUD cry I prolly wud haha

  • EVERYTIME and I mean EVERYTIME I see this movie this scene just has me falling apart! This is the scene that won the movie the Oscar for best picture!

  • What is the guy's name, the "daddy" name lol

  • @sahilgupta231994 The actor? Michael Peña.

  • that's what happens when you let hajis buy guns

  • @joemammasboy And thats what happens when you give nazis access to the internet.

  • I remember when I first saw this scene with my dad and bro and I gasped so freakin' loud when he shot her...I scared the crap outta my dad and bro.

  • Damn ..... When the gun went off i felt a a heat wave go through my body . This was sad for any men who got a little girl.

  • @Neutralzone555 it wasn't for accident, she knew that the bullets were fake

  • I would've fainted if that bullet was real :[

  • A real Mexican would have kicked the living shit out of the guy with the gun.

  • @tarantula152 that's just ignorant talk.

  • Always, always, always cry with this scene. I'm a father with two daughters....and watching the father, I imagine that is what my expression of grief would be.

  • @i3alaawiTV i get chills, amazingly powerful scene.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. so corny.

  • cool movie with some touching scenes

  • HAHAHAHAHAH keep pressing 5

  • @1:26 reminds me of the godfather part III where micheal corleone's daughter gets shot except she actually died and and the little girl didn't

  • @filmcruiser88 nope, i hate racist, this movie is all about racism

  • i watched this movie a while ago and i knew what was going to happen...i still teared up right after that trigger was pulled...

  • @bakabakaboy me too

  • wats the name of this song

  • i cryed so hard on this part

  • DAMN......... THIS SCENE WAS POWERFUL .......I GOT GOOSEBUMPS ALL OVER

  • Woulda beat the hell outta the other guy at that point.

  • it wasn't as sad as i thought because the girl is still alive

  • this is still the only thing that can bring me to tears almost every time. im a 23 year old male and haven't cried since i was a little kid but for some reason this just really hits a soft spot. amazing movie.

  • there was pin drop silence in the movie hall at this scene, what i can hear is some people crying with the lowest frequency permissible at public space.

  • my breath was gone and heart stopped for a moment and wat a sigh of relief when found that she is fine. the scene is greatest because of the expression the father has given at the time of shot.

  • the cry he had at the time of shot can make any human on this earth cry. this scene got it best film oscar. it deserves. best scene i ever seen. i was just watching this film in regular menner but with in fractions of second watching this scene brought tears. there wasnt any built up stock of emotions from the earlier part of the film which bursted out, but it was the impact of just this scene wet my eyes

  • the greatest scene ever. no dialogues neede to tell the meaning of this scebe. its so much explicit. their world shattered apart with in 2 seconds.

  • The first time I watched the movie, thankfully alone in my house, I freaked out of my sanity zone saying to myself, "Blanks! They are blanks! Blanks! Blanks! Blanks! (x10)". First goddamn time in my life I've ever said anything more than 2 words in the middle of a movie.

Funny thing, the most powerful movie moment for me wasn't about tragedy or a revelation or a success, it's about a little girl who lives. I love this scene.

  • Over the years, I have seen the movie 4-5 times, and this youtube clip several times. This scene get me _every_ single time..

  • the music makes it even sadder

  • Michael Pena (the lock smith daniel) says it all in this scene with just the expression on his face.... Wow what a movie

  • The 1st time I saw this scene in the movie i literally screamed and fell off the couch! Then I cannot tell you how much I cried first in terror sadness and then pure relief! Then I laughed when she said it is a really good cloak! I THIS is the scene that won the Oscar for the movie!!!

  • ...God's always with us...

  • stupid racism movie

  • it's okay. daddy's okay.

  • Oh my gosh! I thought she died! That was so sad. :( Sad scene, I cried! Really want to see this movie now. :)

  • @Smileytenshi You should! It's an excellent film.

  • You mean to tell me the guy with the gun got away?

  • Powerful. only a father knows............

  • @enilyksnor er.....or a mother

  • Every single time

    Tears

  • @ID0ntUnderstand same thing brotha' :( I watch it 10 times - I cry 10 times. After 4 years - I watch it again - and I cry again. Amazing

  • i haven't cried in years, watching this film made me cry many times

  • Dammit. This scene gets me every time. I can't watch it without crying, no matter how many times I've seen it.

  • this clip needs no explanation. just watch the movie and be grateful that there is at least one truly great movie made in the past decade.

  • Scene gets me everytime

  • i actually cried...

  • How can Justin Bieber have more views than this unique and emotional scene.

  • One of the saddest scenes ever? This ain't got shit on Marley and Me.

  • @vipercobra451

Hell no dude, how are you gonna compare a child trying to save her dad than a dog dying. This is by far the best emotional scene ever.

  • @soccergoalkeeper1 I'm an animals person, not a peoples person. It's just like how I would rather donate money to starving animals than starving children.Hey, thats just me.

  • i cried everytime

  • Stunning scene. Stuning Movie Making. Best, most provactive film ever.

  • very few things could make me cry...

  • ... Beautiful.. I can honestly say this brought tears to my eyes...

  • to me it sounded like its really good coke lol

  • just imagine if the bullets weren't blank and she ended up dead? that would be the most courageous thing i have ever seen on film.

  • one tear fell when i first saw this and thats alot to say coming from a guy who never cries

  • either way, just imagine what went through their mind when they thought she died saving the dad

  • @acspcshop I know the guy with the gun thought: .......wtf....HAX

  • @acspcshop

Seriously!! That's what I was thinking!

  • holy shiiiit. that just gave me goosebumps

  • @acspcshop gave goosrbumbs to but really how did he miss

  • @i3alaawiTV
