Saw Guns N' Roses in Philly June of 1991, Skid Row opened, 2 months before ILLUSION 1 N 2 were out . to hear new material for the 1st time live was so intense, that concert made that summer. then 2 shows in a row in December 1991 in Philly at theold SPECTRUM 15TH ROW center stage, couldn't get any better then that at 16 years old. Guns were the most intense band I have ever seen, an i've been to alot more concerts then most people. ENERGY like no other shows.Sound was amazing. Axl rock on.

Saw old Guns many times. new Guns is intense live when they start trading off leads on guitar. Wait till they get inducted into the ROCK N' ROLL Hall of Fame very soon. That should be very interesting . Last time I saw GN'R was at the Garden in November 2006, best show I've been too since old Guns in 1992 Giants Stadium. show ended early but still summer show was great Guns n Metallica, forget about it.

Axl sounded better then ever both shows. Skid Row opened in JUNE 1991. SO INTENSE, 1st night of summer vacation .

I have to say, no izzy no slash, no guns. Having said that, I think the band sounds pretty damn good actually. I like the funkier vibe going on, Axl is getting down for sure, would love to see more from the show no matter how bad the quality is. This is why i love youtube, my thanks to whoever put this up. I was at this show standing right next to the guy filming this and all I can say is that it was one of the best shows I've seen! And to all the critics, the band absolutely nailed it and sounded great. Axl sang like there were 50,000 people there giving it 150% and he really seemed happy and to be having a great time at one point joking with the crowd "Hey Axl, Hey Asshole". THANK YOU JOHN VARVATOS for always putting on such great events and for keeping the historic CBGB and Rock N Roll alive!
