Well, I’m a Christian socialist. It lacks the smarmy cynical appeal atheists love, as well as the “God’s got the whole world in His hands” platitudes so many American Christians love (the “world” wasn’t exactly a friend to Jesus). But I think it’s how you define the nature of Man and what he would have in the way of his “state”. For those who insist the apostles shared everything voluntarily, keep in mind their faith was so strong anyone dishonest about property in their presence fell dead.
