@elektrokuma As we all know, women in bikinis get people's attention. I was hoping people would pay attention long enough to hear David Harbour's music which was the whole idea behind this video. I would have put up some pics and videos of women that were actually hot, but that would be a copyright violation. This is me and these are my pics and videos. I was wondering if you have been playing around with 5 or even 6 string basses... I noticed you play alot of Ibanez 4 string basses, would like to recommend the BTB series... I have one and also a Dean I bought from Doug Colosio he is the piano player from the Merle Haggard Band...

@azfryguy Thanks and yes I went to West Virginia University for music education - played viola at the time. So I learned alot about music while I was there, but I left school to join a rock band as a keyboardist during my 2nd year. Kids- stay in school!

Great video! I checked out David and wow!! That's the great thing about Youtube, you see so many talented people that you would otherwise not have heard of. It's cool that you have three kids and still make time for your music. That's got to be tough, yet you look so happy and obviously enjoy your life. It would be a better world if everyone could that! I follow several great bassists - Tal and you are both among them. You've got great chops and a great presence. I believe you could have a gig similar to Tal's from what I've seen. I'd imagine at this point Jeff Beck wants someone who has 1) excellent chops. 2) Checks the ego at the door and works for the good of the band like a brilliant bassist should.

Give Paul Gilbert a resume. Who knows? ;-)

I'm a beginning bassist-- I had a basslines pickup put in my roadstar II then I had a vintage Fender Jazz Bass pick up put in it too and she could shred me... Can't you just pick up a bass and hear if it sounds good or do you have to go all ASPBERGER'S SYNDROME--like Rainman Gear? It's more about how the music feels... Sheesh.
