@DrRonWilson i live in the UK and I'm 25 years old. From the age of 13 I had metal braces for 3 years then retainers for less than two years i think. Since i took my braces off in 2002/ 2003 the two front top teeth - one tooth overlapped the other. Why is this? I'm thinking of getting adult braces but where is the guarantee they won't overlap again? I'm kinda mad cos i spent my teenage years with painful teeth and now after all these years they're not completly straight

I go to the ortodontist July 12th to see if i have more teeth to lose or if i can get them. I have to have them. I have a tiny open bite and a crossbite. Oh, and by the way I'm 9.

@TheJwize4206 the most important things to have are wax, and advil, or some other painkiller. i must warn you though, for the first few days do not eat anything that you have to bite or chew, or it will hurt. the only thing to worry about is the soreness. i got mine on yesterday, and I can't say V without making a tiny whistle. *sigh*
