I have visited Cuba in 2000. Awful to see such widespread poverty after the 1991 collapse of the USSR and the end of the generous funding. Still, I don't regret the collapse of the USSR, but what do they have now? I would NOT want to live there nor in Cuba. America is NOT perfect & we've done HORRIBLE things!
