Its a known fact that Canadian beer is stronger and has more alcohol content, for example the average ABV of American beer is 4-5% while the average Canadian content is 5.5-6%. I`ve personally had American beer may it be Miller, Coors, Sam Adams etc, in my opinion its not as strong as Alexander Keiths IPA, Molson, Labbat or even Moosehead.

You cannot advertise “this beer will get you drunk” due to alcohol laws, nor can you promote your brand based on the alcohol content in the US. ABW and ABV is just a different method of determining the alcohol content, but when push comes to shove and when you convert ABW to ABV and compare it the the Canadian content it is weaker and not as strong, its nothing to be ashamed of man.

There is no pride in those beers. Micro breweries is where its at and any true American beer aficionado will say the same. Also, the law enforcement in China and India is quite low compared to the US. There are more crime operations in those countries that aren't resolved because it's under the radar or they are letting it happen. Such as drugs and human trafficking which is very prevalent. Political crimes in China are very common.

Many of my Canadian friends tell me that a lot of people care about Canadian beer because it's just something that Canada has on the US like hockey. Which is funny because only certain US regions (N to NE) care about hockey and no one cares about mainstream beer. It's all about microbrews and the US competes on the world stage in that respect and sometimes they win.

You cannot advertise “this beer will get you drunk” due to alcohol laws, nor can you promote your brand based on the alcohol content in the US. ABW and ABV is just a different method of determining the alcohol content, but when push comes to shove and when you convert ABW to ABV and compare it the the Canadian content it is weaker and not as strong, its nothing to be ashamed of man.

Also, the law enforcement in China and India is quite low compared to the US. There are more crime operations in those countries that aren't resolved because it's under the radar or they are letting it happen. Such as drugs and human trafficking which is very prevalent. Political crimes in China are very common.

I agree. I think Canadians are trust worthy, and I think it's a bit ridiculous that the U.S would be spending money on something as trivial as the Canadian border. They're probably the safest, and nicest country around. It's disrupting the daily lives of the people living there. We should be more concerned about our growing debt. There is a difference in being cautious, or paranoid. America has been leaning towards the latter for quite some time after many mistakes and paranoid officials...

i would have thought two great western nations like the USA and Canada wouldn't need border controls.. in Western Europe we abolished borders loing ago.. i can drive from UK though Belgium, France Spain and Portugal without stopping to show any passport or ID :)

I haven't been to Canada since the Passport law came into effect. I used to go up every few months to Windsor but haven't in 3 years now. Stupid law! I have to buy a passport now, it's a tax & that's it!

The U.S isn't worried about law abiding Canadian citizens crossing the border, they're worried about a much more serious threat such as a terrorist like Ahmed Ressam exploiting a week point between our countries borders to get into the U.S & blow something up! Also trafficking is more rampant between our borders than you would like to believe, generally cheaper canadian drugs travel south into the States while American firearms come here.

@sonnyblack0870 Hmm, does it seem like the problems that the U.S has with Canada are that to the ones between Mexico and the U.S. The iranians were able to capitalize on the idea of using cartels to assassinate the saudi ambassador. Also, last time I checked, the flight that hit 9/11 came from the US. The US has had no extensive problem with Canada besides cheaper marijuana and cheaper prescription medication. The U.S can't function as a nation if it tenses with its largest trading partner.

Where I live, people go to school or work the other side of the border. We call it across "the ditch". Pretty bad, when you need a passport to go to work, school, or play hockey... We've gotten used to it....don't like it, but that's life, eh??

Canadians have alot of families in the USA, hell i see cars all the way from california and florida visit my blue colar canadian city in southwestern ontario all the time even at friends appartments americans are working on cars in the parking space from texas and shit.
