  • Covering the kids eyes makes it worse you dirty ass cunts

  • Does covering their eyes help them relax? Just asking, I've never seen anyone do that before.

  • @yankeedoodlecajun its just so they cant see the needle go in. most children tend to freak out when they see the needle actually coming to them so some parents cover the childs eyes, but this baby boy obviously knew what was coming.. :)

  • least these doctors got it down in one hit mine takes like 8 times just to get a vein cause there so fucking bad at it

  • what dose that thing they tie around their arm do? Help the pain?

  • @Peedeelnn lol it helps make the veins pop out more so it's easier to stick a needle in them

  • @Peedeelnn no, they tie his arm to stop the blood flow to see the veins better

  • When I was a kid, I had to have five doctors holding me down whenever I had to get something I didn't want done... xD

  • I had a specialist draw blood from my arm the same method. How come he was crying?

  • TORTURE

  • poor baby :( it always sucks seeing kids cry : /

  • @lifesaver173 Full grown people react to white coats, and it seems they want no fewer than two from me.

  • @sneakers55 OK. I sometimes see them use a syringe with the butterfly needle. It hurts less then that thing they used to hold the test tubes.

  • @sneakers55 Sometimes they use that. Depending on the hospital floor you were sent to.

  • Is it easy for Joshua when they tested some blood?

  • He had rashes? I am sorry about your son.

  • He was screaming through the procedure. You told her you were from Indonesia.

  • How old is your son?

  • He does not like it at all. He is afraid.

  • How come he's screaming? Oh no! Was it serious?

  • Poor Joshua, Hold still.

  • If He Looked He Would've Passed Out In Pain

  • He's not used to this. He is so cute. Did they print his results?

  • Is your son OK? Most kids are frightened by strangers in white coats.

  • How much blood did they draw from your son? It usually is one tube.

  • I understood that he went through that.

  • Wow! That's a small boy. He was afraid of the needle.

  • I had that same needle. They came to my bedside right away.

  • One of them with red lipstick looked pretty. Was it a gloss?

  • It was a little bit scary for him. I'm sorry he went through that. The technicians had an accent from Indonesia.

  • It was a little bit scary for him. I'm sorry he went through that. Se gora ah?

  • I am fluent with other languages.

  • I think he's afraid of the tech.

  • aww poor baby! i went through that when i was like 8 i cried for dear life then my mom took me out for lunch at luby's

  • why did you recording the film when your son get shot?

  • getting blood drawn is defo worse than getting a shot :(

  • poor baby! Thats gotta hurt!

  • parents must hate doing this kind of thing.

  • @chunkeymonkey91910 i think they do

  • man,,, i was totally like that when i had to do that at his age.. i went to the dentist and i had to get 5 shots in my mouth, i thought it would be more worst that a shot but surprisingly... IT DIDNT, is was like LOL,

  • poor kid! I'm never getting my blood drawn! That would hurt really bad.

  • that would probably hurt!

  • LMAO theyre over there having a casual ass conversation while he's screaming bloody murder. LMAO.

  • It hurts like a pinch. Then the sample comes .

  • poor little boy, i bet if he'd be able to he'd tell them all off and the way he's crying since he's not able to talk it sounds like he's saying fuck off leave me a lone, let me go. Sorry about f word. The parents and the docotor should've paid attention to the little baby more and it's like they were just ignoring him and talking amongst themselve the baby looked very pissed off.

  • It did sound like he said that to them.

  • the child NEEDED those tests. I do this for a living and 90% of the time the child is screaming in FEAR, not pain. They don't want it done. Obviously. I agree the parents should have been trying to relax the child, that's what I do and 90% of the time it works. Most of it is drama and the child is fine after.

  • @jaydedhart and others who think they can look inside the souls of other people, esp. children: we can just GUESS what they feel and how bad it feels for them. I had painful blood tests and other (surprising or forced) injections when I was small. I didn't even cry a lot with the blood tests but it was horrible, it hurt like hell. Being fixed and everyone around talking and laughing. I LOOKED fine afterwards but I became a needle phobic. As soon as I could decide for myself I avoided needles.

  • It took many years and many sleepless nights (fear, stress) before I could deal with standard needle proced. again. Still can't be in the same room with crying kids who get needles. I got 2 young kids and I'm glad their dad can calm and comfort them.

One last thing: doctors always say your child NEEDS that test or that vaccination, but as a parent YOU decide whether you get it done on your child or not. In my opinion, docs test and vaccinate too much and mostly give a shit about the kids soul.

  • it's nothing about being psychic/having esp. I have done this too many times to know what's going on. he's SCARED, not all phlebotomists are hard on their patients. I too have had some people who didn't know what they were doing and it hurt, it's not as bad as what everyone in here is making it out to be. The child is terrified..the pinch may hurt but it's not as excruciating as you and other people are making it out to be. I've had needle phobes change their minds after i've picked them.

  • When I was a kid I screamed like that so my mum would save me from having the test done lol.

  • @jaydedhart Incorrect. There is a pain, To an adult who knows its coming is different. The child doesn't and is extra sensitive to pinches and needles. And even after its already in thats when the fear sets in cause they've been poked with a needle that hurt and can't get control of the situation and move away. (Cause they're being held)

  • i agree with you, the nurses and Parents didn't even comfort the poor child. The little boys Parents sould have been comforting him

  • He did not like that at all. I screamed like that for an IV.

  • They should say, "It's almost done."

  • i had to fill 7 capsules today..its not as bad as you thought..hardly felt a thing

  • poor kid done for a good cause tho

  • Ahhh they took my blood out like that. That hurt!

  • Haven't these cold hearted people ever heard of EMLA cream, or topical lidocane?

  • Don't think it would help with the fear. It's more the thought of getting a needle than the pain.

  • @kd4imu he probably would have screamed anyway, since the lidocane only numbs the surface and not the other layers of skin and vascular wall.

  • He does not like that. Is he in a hospital?

  • No - he had rashes and his doctor wanted to make sure it wasn't something serious.

  • @ruthyoctavia OK. Most people get rashes from poison ivy. I've had reactions to different medications.

  • just watching tht gives me the chills i hate needles!

  • why would you put your kid through that for what without comforting him thats just wrong thats torture mean
