I downloaded RoM but the 4.0.5 patch isnt working correctly can you help me please? reply and ill tell you the problem, when the update comes up and it stops at 79% then it dissapears and then restarts and does the same thing.

It's downloading as I watch this video...it estimates 24 hours. The fan is broke in my laptop. I'm going to have to sit here and make sure the laptop doesn't over-heat, and it's already 6 hours passed bed time. I really hope this is worth it xD

Its not like WoW were u have 2 be a specific race 2 be a class so thats one good thing about ROF but then again WoW has more races but if u can afford WoW go for it if u cant i think id go for this ~_~ :D

BE WARNED: This thing takes forever to download, about 10x slower than any other game I have downloaded (and is not as big as some games I have downloaded) but it IS worth it. I am a total noob at this game but it must be the most fun I have ever had in a beginner area :P

Im downloading this too, and it looks amazing. I got tired of WoW cause I didnt play for a while and that wasting money for no reason when you can just play for free and wont feel guilty or bad for wasting money, also how much are the mounts like permanent?

@tranquillo62: You get access to mounts right from the start. The newbie gifts give a 1 or 2 day mount. After that you can either rent them from stalls for some gold (3000 for 2 hours.. sounds like a lot of gold but youll have plenty of money to cover that at 20) or you can use the Cash Shop and buy a permanent mount with Diamonds.

@heiamll question: ok my computer can play RoM on low graphics like a breeze but then why i turn it up to normal its really laggy im thinking about hooking up my computer to my main internet box with this make it run faster on higher graphic levels?

Very very different.  At first it might look the same since the GUIs are identical for the most part.. but the mechanics are another story entirely.

This is really nice I'm surprised it doesn't have much views, question though. Is it easy to pass through the game with out diamonds? I hate how mmo's have to have nexon cash, diamonds, subscribtions, etc. To actually have fun on the game. So basically, do you have to have diamonds to enjoy the game? Is it easy to make money in Runes of Magic?

ive been playing for a couple weeks now and have not needed diamonds for anything. Money is fairly easy to come by. When both classes hit 20, if youve done questing to level, you should have about 250k gold. Of course, the higher level you go the more money quests give. You can also make money playing with the auction house or making items to sell.

Right now on Grimdal, diamonds are about 7k per in bulk.. 10k single. So diamonds are not much of an issue i think.. esp at later levels.
