Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this memory. His chrisma and his story in his song is so beautiful. I just want to run and hug this Man. So elegant and slighly vunerable his rendition. Men so so manly in that time.
Utterly fascinating! The late great Bob Mitchum wasn't a bad singer at all. Wish he'd done more than just a few a couple of albums! Didn't Dean Martin have a top ten hit with this song? I vaugely recall it from the 60's when I was a kid. In any case, THANKS for posting this intriguing clip! CHEERS! :-)
Someone asked me about Robert Mitchum because I'm a movie buff. I identified him as "You know, the actor that didn't like to work with people of color." Yeah, that's him. Never did care for him as much as, say, Gregory Peck, Burt Lancaster, Clark Gable.
That's bullshit. And tbh, someone else has already posted that they can disprove what you write, but you should actually be backing it up with evidence, the onus is on you to prove your garbage, not the other way around.
@babyidontcare23 I wish I had! I only found this clip a couple of years ago on the web and saved it to my computer. When I couldn't find it online again, I decided to post it here. If you find the whole interview, do let me know! ;)

Robert Mitchum was a man's man and a woman's man too. He was better and cooler than James Dean. Mitchum was more realistic and life-like than Dean.

There's no shit from Mitchum thats for sure. The jews hated him for his less than humble retraction about their fairy tales .
